Nobody, as long as he moves about among the chaotic currents of life, is without trouble.
- Carl G. Jung
History
The connections with all of these objects are muddled throughout history as being separate items of crazed individuals. What only a handful of learned scholars is that in combination, these items were created as a whole for the purpose of pandemonium. Ownership of these creations has also been muddled throughout history as multiple inventive artisans lead claim to an item or two.
Regardless of what the histories tell, the original inventor of the complete set of the Array of Anarchy was a follower of Ishchali called Ceoluulf Alric. Later he proclaimed himself as Enyo, the Hand of Strife. He claimed to have been given direct incite into certain aspects of the world and the universe, which some laid claim to his unstable mentality. These revelations given to Enyo gave him the ability and, he claimed, need to create the items of his deity. Ishchali was a complete unknown to most; Ishchali sits in the shadows using his many personas to influence the world around him. He found one such vessel in Alric. It is quoted that Ishchali spoke to Alric and this is what was said.
Four tasks I have given you and each one a testament to disorder. Complete them and I shall give you transition into the clouded realm. And the doors of Aamina-Ala shall spread open for you and the thread of truth and knowledge will be yours for the taking.
These tasks were the creation of that which Ishchali bestrode upon him was the spreading of chaotic virtue. When creating such a chaotic state, Enyo used the knowledge his dark god gave him to create the epitome of what he was taught. The entire process took over a decade, by the time he was completed he was feeble and senile. His mind shattered from multiple failed experiments. His devotion to Ishchali had taken the rest of his sensibilities. After years of toiling over his faith and his divine given tasks he finished a shell of a man. Patched white hair, a hooked hand that had been destroyed in on of his experiments and a white, dead eye were his trophies. When he was complete however, a simpleton of the mind due to the insanities he was forced to endure to create that which his deity requested, he smiled in satisfaction and died. No gate was opened for him to Aamina-Ala, no gift beyond the clouded realm was given. He was soulless and lost.
Items of the Array of Anarchy
The items which he created had never been properly assembled so it was unknown that their properties were combined when together. The items he created were priceless pieces of art.
-
A white silvered breast plate. Beaten as thin as possible, it weighed nearly nothing when worn and held, yet withstood the strongest of blows from hammers. Intricate designs of lace are tattooed with red gold, making it stand out vividly in the light of fires.
-
A silken cloak of the darkest red clasped with an ivory brooch of a menagerie mask.
-
A silvered helm encrusted with shards of ivory. The silvered helm covers only the top of the head, leaving the face and jaw exposed. The ivory shards inlaid into the helm raise up as small spikes.
-
An obsidian mask with a smiling face of openness and caring. The black mask has two hinges on the top as well as two hooks on the sides. When placed on the front of the helm they lock into place combining the two into a single set.
These items have been scattered about the lands throughout the ages, lost and found by various people. Always it seems that the unsuspecting are the usual and unfortunate ones to find them. It is vague but throughout history events of misfortune and chaotic nature seem to follow in the path of these items, sowing the seeds of disorder and discord. However it is when all four of these set items are found and placed together, does anarchy truly reign.
While individually these items are profound and can cause their own form of mayhem and chaos it is truely unknown what will occur when all four of these items are in fact placed together and worn by the same individual. It was said that the gates of Aamina-Ala shall be openned but they have never been brought together. Perhaps because of their nature of random havoc, bedlam, chaos, and confusion acts that they were destined to never be able to be brought to one location to be completed.
But should the worst happen and they be united, the gates will open to the place that demons call their heaven and the unknown will transpire.

Description
A white silvered breast plate. Beaten as thin as possible, it weighed nearly nothing when worn and held, yet withstood the strongest of blows from hammers. Intricate designs of lace are tattooed with red gold, making it stand out vividly in the light of fires.
This is truly a work of master. Its lines are perfect and symmetrical, never before seen in a piece of armor. There are no leather straps to hold the front and back of the plate together, they simple lock and snap into place. The design of the hinge itself is truly unique as it gives flexibility to the wearer even without the straps.
Magic/ Cursed Properties
While the breast plate is solid and will seemingly take even a strike from a falling boulder, it is not the durability that is scary, but the hidden properties. When worn nothing is noticed. It acts and functions as a normal piece of armor would. When worn in combat however, it slowly begins to plant a seed into the wearer. They begin to become angry at the slightest of offenses; they begin to enjoy physical confrontation which begins to manifest into enjoyment of pain. Their mind slowly breaks down into a homicidal rage or lunacy and they begin to act in a torrent of anger and rage that death can only stop.
It is often common for the murder rate to increase in the area when this breast plate is worn. Those who are near the wearer begin to develop a lunacy of their own simply being in a close proximity of it. Like the wearer, they desire pain and the rushing feeling of adrenaline as they watch the life drift from a victim. Once the wearer leaves the area, the effects of these in its wake slowly wear off and a lulled period of violence follows.
Those that commit acts of violence when under the influence of the cursed item usually feel remose once they awaken from a sleepy stupor. Those who wear the item, however, are forever changed and even if the breast plate can be removed, they are forever changed mentally.
This has been sitting on a napkin for about six months and I feel it is unfinished but I do not know what else ot add to it. Comments and advice welcome. Please remember that this is part of a set and most of the history information is in the main codex.

Helms Havoc
By: Mourngrymn
( Items ) Armor -
Cursed
Those who wear this item are usually laughed at and scorned for its appearance at first. It looks odd adorning the head of any warrior as it always seems a little too small and its thin strap that secures it in place seems far to fragile and loose to keep it in place when worn in a melee. However, when the wake of its powers catches up to those who scorn, their attitudes and lives change abruptly. The knowledge about this helm is vague but throughout history, events of a chaotic nature seem to follow in the path of this item, sowing the seeds of disorder and discord. However it is when all four of these set items are found and placed together, does true havoc reign.

Description
The helm is made from a bluish and silvered metal that is encrusted with shards of ivory. The silvered helm covers only the top of the head, leaving the face and jaw exposed, and a thin leather strap secures the helm to the wearer. The ivory shards inlaid into the helm rise up as small spikes and seem as small bones when viewed in other than the brightest of lights.
When scrutinized it seems to be the work of a simpleton. The ivory shards seem attached with a solvent instead of mounted in the metal. The bluish and silvery metal seems to have been a blend of semi quality metal and some oily substance that gives it a slimy appearance, as if it was sloughed with oil. The helm always seems a tad too small or even a bit too large, and no amount of adjusting the straps fixes the fit. But it will never fall off.
Magic/ Cursed Properties
To the unwary, this helm seems to benefit any fighter who wears it. It projects a distinct aura of magic like the other items in the st, but due to it’s nature it never reveals its properties. When first worn, their combat abilities appear to increase. In a system of points this can equate to a bonus to strike, parry, and or damage. When the real effects begin to take their hold on the wearer however, the desire to remove the helm fades until they will fight to keep it.
When worn the beginning effects slowly work their way in. They begin to show only when signs of high excitement are apparent, like conflict and fighting. The wearer gets a huge boost of adrenaline and gets excited about the physical nature of combat. They slowly begin to crave the adrenaline rush that they experience only when in combat and will begin seeking confrontation out everywhere until they get to the point of needed that feeling, like a drug addict shown their focus of getting their high, they reach out for it and force it to happen.
While this is a feeling like adrenaline, it has no physical effect on them. It just implants a need and desire to have that feeling in them. Which is small at first, but because of the nature of the item it grows into a violent need. They become reckless in their actions and do not care how they have to get this feeling infused, they only know that in order to get it they have to get violent.
They begin attacking random people, until it isn’t random anymore and they attack everyone they see. The unfortunate who wear the item will forever be hounded by this desire unless proper measures are taken, usually divine intervention helps. Those in the area of the wearer of the helm also begin to feel edgy and agitated, their adrenaline also increasing to higher levels than normal. They begin to stress and need that fix like a junkie needing drugs.
While they may not become as violent as the harbinger of this affect, they will actively seek out dangerous ideas to get their fix of adrenaline. If simple adventurous actions do not sate their desire they may end up trying their hand at stealing, or possibly killing.
This has been sitting on a napkin for about six months and I feel it is unfinished but I do not know what else to add to it. Comments and advice welcome. Please remember that this is part of a set and most of the history information is in the main codex.

Now, there are two items of the set already, and both of them have a similar effect of turning the wearer into a homicidal maniac in the end. Shouldn't there be more to the elementary force The Chaos? Perhaps the wearer could experience fits of strange luck and unluck, constantly loosing and finding things, etc. Or he could become addicted to gambling, and all kinds of games of chance and contests (an ideal way for the item move on - bet it and loose it). Or people could react unpredictably in the wearer's presence.
And you know, when you post all the items, we will want to know what happens when you put more of them together. ;)
My take: the wearer of multiple items would not be a slave of a single urge - he could decide to follow one of them, or 'invoke their power'. Note that even with some freedom will the results be always chaotic and unpredictable, the wearer quite empowered, but not knowing himself what will happen next - a genuine champion of Chaos.
So, with those examples from above, meeting a group of strangers the champion could decide to go for the open battle, suggest a contest for some fun (hard to resist for them due to the item's influence), mix up their minds (so anything from bewilderment, through arguing to open infighting or attack can happen), or let something be lost or found unexpectably. The result will be a mess anyway.

The mindset behind the entire thing is not to create havoc in a single persons life, that does not further the end all agenda, but to reap chaos to those around the items. That way no item is pin pointed and singled out among the root cause. In theory... the one who made them was in fact insane.

I love this one, it has a very classic DnD/Mythos feel to it, I can't point to what I loved about it, but I now I loved it one.
One thing: this sentence is wrong, it has the feel of something that has been edited some many times that important words and phrases have been lost.
