   12 Years, 11 Months, 1 Day, 23 Hours ago

Long ago, longer still than even the golden age of Hamset, so long it is out of the memory of man, though not of the elves for they remember their history to the first.  Many secrets areheld by the elves. Flask of Wiblië By: elfkin
   13 Years, 2 Weeks, 1 Day, 17 Hours, 5 Minutes ago

The flask itself is not very important, any flask will do.  It is the Wiblië itself wich is important.  This special drink carried by the rangers of Halefas is also a great need of other countries.  Merchants from around Hamset come to the great market street of Ellivanor in hope of ubtaining this liquid.

elphiniar and delfinsel By: elfkin
   13 Years, 1 Month, 4 Days, 23 Hours, 58 Minutes ago

Staff of Dragoonias By: elfkin
   13 Years, 1 Month, 5 Days, 59 Minutes ago

This staff is equally powerful the the staff of Leviadan.  The differences are that it is an evil craft, those who are not already evil shall be currupted should the staff stay in the possesion of good men to long.  The trait that gave it it’s name is that it gives you "TEMPORARY" controle over the minds of dragons and griffins.

Halëfas By: elfkin
   13 Years, 1 Month, 6 Days, 4 Hours, 3 Minutes ago

The forest of Halëfas is a strange place indeed.  It has long been inhabited by the forest elves, a race of elves descended from the high elves that have lived for over 9000 years isolated there.  This wood is patroled by a groupe of expert rangers who know the forest well, Tred lightly and unthreateningly here for you may find your end in Hathil’S arrow.

   13 Years, 1 Month, 6 Days, 4 Hours, 19 Minutes ago

This flute when played by an elven mage or other wizards of good magic can use it’s melody for many uses.
The song of fire can summon heat
the song of water can flood even the smallest of creeks
the song of wind can create hurricane type winds.
ect
The power of each summon is based on it’s users willpower.  You think the power of your summon Ex: play the song of fire but want a small spark then think a small spark.  Not for novince wizards, weak minded or dirty minded folk

Corpse Herders

       By: Murometz

The Jiangsi was the name of an undead being in Chinese folklore and mythology. Usually translated as zombie or vampire for Western palates, the Jiangsi was really neither. They appeared as simply risen, fresh corpses. They moved (peculiarly!) by hopping rather than walking, and sought out the living to suck the Qilife force from their victims.

Perhaps significantly more interesting than the Jiangsi itself, was the lore surrounding them. "Zombie wranglers", or "Corpse Herders", usually Daoist priests, were men tasked with delivering these undead beings back to their respective home towns. Tradition in China placed great importance and emphasis on the return of the dead to their homes and families, and thus the corpse herders came to be. By using magick words and talismans they would animate the dead, and by placing specially inscribed parchments of paper over the Jiangsi heads and faces, the corpse herders would be able to control the hopping corpses. Then like pied pipers, they would lead processions of subdued undead, across many miles, rhythmically chanting and ringing tiny bells.

Special inns were built across China to house these undead caravans, as the zombies could only travel by evening and night, the sun anathema to them. Rows of doors opening to barely a closet-space, lined the walls of these special establishments. Behind these doors, the corpses would be stored upright while the corpse herders rested in rooms.

The Jiangsi under the control of a corpse herder were quite harmless, merely hopping after him, silently and without complaint, for weeks and months. If however, the magicked parchment would somehow be removed from their faces, the creatures would immediately seek living humans to kill. Their thirst for Qi was unquenchable.

The job of a corpse herder was an interesting one to say the least.
