Unique Wildlife?

I was wondering if there would perhaps be in a low magic world any unique or odd wildlife or of things would genrally be the same as on earth or in other settings.

Perhaps there would be new animals similar to normal ones with slight differences, or perhaps there would be the same animals, only many, many times more vibrant. just a potential idea to expand on.
