Kalera Lesir was d**n short for an Antharri, and her hair was a shade or two lighter than the jet black of her family.  She didn't wear the distinctive armor of a Vosir, either.  She had sold that weeks ago.  And her manner was also distinctly off, compared to the rest of the Antharri.  She suspected the fact that she was so wierd was the reason she got along in Sirvat as well as she did.  Some people knew her by sight, but most thought that she was from Irva, or Darkbury Port.  A few knew that she was an Antharr.  But no one knew she was a Vosir.  She was at pains to keep that hidden.  She got so very lonely when that was common knowledge.  People avoided her if they knew.  She knew very well what people thought of her in Antharis.  But at least she hadn't been reduced to sitting in a pub all day.  Not yet.  But if she didn't find something worthwhile soon...
She sighed.  She was getting depressed in spite of herself.  She decided to walk down the Seer's Way.  That always took her mind off of her troubles.

Thardoy shifted from hoof to hoof, already feeling the uncomfortable stillness of dry land. The Drann scratched at his tunic and stamped his trident on the ground as he waited. This wasn't fair. That Durga had said he would meet Thardoy here, on the Seer's Way. He snorted menacingly in the direction of some humans who looked to closely, and they quickly retreated. Tired of standing, Thardoy sat down heavily, and dropped his trident beside him.

Kalera wandered down the Seer's Way.  There was all kinds of interesting things going on, as usual.  The merchants who capitalized on thier proximity to the seers ignored her for the most part; they were accustomed to seeing her and knew she would most likely not buy anything.
As she turned the corner, a very odd sight met her.  She'd never seen a Drann on dry land before.  She'd never even seen one close to shore.  After staring for a moment, she shrugged and continued on her way.  She was living proof that there was a first time for everything, and it didn't really matter.  It took a lot more than that to scare her.  Her sword was strapped across her back where she could get at it easily, but where it was hidden by her cloak.  A Durga very nearly ran into her.  She moved out of the way and kept going.  There was something the slightest bit odd about him, and she couldn't quite place it...

Thardoy met with the Durga, who called himself Thundero, presently. The exchange was quick, a bag of money for a small pendant. Nobody noticed but the two of them. Thardoy nodded, thanked "Thundero", and left. He went down the Seer's Way, studying his new pendant.

As Kalera wandered around, she absently noticed that the Drann she had seen was also going the same way.  She didn't pay much attention.  She was feeling better already.
She could hear some music up the street, and hurried in that direction.  Sure enough, it was a Faeyan, probably a Harlikain.  He was playing a flute, and already had attracted a small crowd.  Kalera stopped and joined them, listening to one of the greatest things in the world.
