In Transformers, Barricade is a Ford Mustang police cruiser. This is significant as one of the big sponsors of the movie was GM, and the fight between Bumblebee and Barricade is symbolic between the fight between the Camaro and the Mustang, which started back in 1966. (Bumblebee was actually rolled out as part of the relaunch of the Camaro line, and as such the car in the movie is NOT a Camaro, but a mock up Camaro shell on an Impala chassis.)

I googled this because not only don't I know, but I don't recall anyone in the movie ever making a point of it. Like, I can tell you what Riggs and Murtaugh both use in Lethal Weapon because they actually discuss it. And everyone knows what Dirty Harry uses. Hell he makes a speech about it. Twice. In the same movie.

But in this movie? They never discuss it and I'm too busy looking at Kate to notice the guns, even if I were able to ID most guns on sight. :)

The Deathdealer carried a pair of Beretta 93R automatic pistols, and she has the honor of being the female holder of rhe most bullets fired in one movie.

A mysterious slavic(?) crime leader possibly portrayed by Kevin Spacey.

This is more opinion, But Keyser Soze was a legend created by Spacey's character, IIRC named Verbal Kint or something, a boogie man he could use as the public "face" of his own criminal organization. Either way, we was a ruthless badass crime boss.

Nay, tis much worse.

I am breaking sod and turning soil to plant a garden in my backyard. I have boxes ready, and boxes to build to house root vegetable that don't like my heavy clay rich soil, like carrots and potatoes. I've been landscaping, mulching, cutting bushes, and hauling away yard debris.

I need to get on these things, my corn seedlings are closing on being a foot tall, and they are still in a seedling tray on a table in my kitchen.

I am growing a yard full of heirloom, rare, and other unusual crops.

My potatoes are purple, my carrots come in five different colors, I have four varieties of corn, ranging from black, to Aztec/Olmec green, to glass gem. It's all weird, rare stuff that you can't go buy at the grocery story.

I got green cauliflower (not broccoli) from Lithuania.

Ghost peppers from Malaysia

It's bonkers, it's freaking bonkers.

It's kicking my ass and I go to sleep worn out, but I can't wait to get up and start again, and I get mad when I have to stop and go to real work and make socks. I have work to do, real work, to do. I am doing this by hand, I don't have a tractor, or a tiller. This is all shovel and hoe, and all that.

It pleases me. It soothes me.

And I am jealous. I still have so much snow on the ground I expect it to be June before I mow my lawn again. Or do anything remotely agricultural. On the bright side, I plan to put in deer fencing for part of my lot at least, so there is a chance I could plant something edible.

Seriously? Granted I'm reading a translated version, but I haven't found the series to be in any way bad. This is my third time re-reading them in fact. For one thing, they are a veritable font of fantasy sounding names. He seems to have a penchant with name-dropping like 10 new people for every other chapter or so. But noooo, that was not what I was going for.

The answer was Mat Cauthon, by Queen Tylin of Ebou Dar. And it was played for laughs.
