Power ups, like video game for Supers suggestions

Im going to place power ups throughout my Gotham City Supers game looking for suggestions let me giva an example(setting is heavy gang, moderate Occult,
early Cyperpunk)

Mia's Massage parlor(no funny biz!) gain minor energy for  a couple of hours

Chinese Pizza minor combat penalty for 1 hour (NASTY taste!)

Homer's Donuts minor increase to foot speed, 1 hour

Have you ever played Munchkin? Its a card game. I think it will help you here.

You want little crystals to be found in and around the city (something asteroid or supervillian related exploded, spreading them around the city).  They provide personal energy (energy points for powers, recovery of stun/wounds (boots if you are healed that much) or straight xp.

Saints Row 4 had 'nexii' scattered all through the city.  They had an in-game rational albeit tenuous.  They were effectively XP dumps.

How are you planning for these not to have a very video-gamy feel or is your campaign that style anyway?

Photo Op:  Media interest + due to pride/confidence buff.

Negative Newspaper/TV Article - penalty due to confidence lag

My instincts on the game have been spot on and it was just an idea I had to make them re-visit notable locations. My core concept on Gotham is to stretch
a 4 color game to the very edge of reality . But have a good rational for all of it.
