I was surfing the net and stumbled across your humble abode. I liked what I saw and figured I would make my presence known.

Greetings everyone.

Now I am off to spend time reading your board.

D'ARR![/i]

A large shadow falls over the courtyard as a massive, sloshing oak barrel flies overhead. The barrel crashes down with a thunderous bang and crashes into one of the walls of the Citadel. A small figure leaps from atop the barrel, and runs toward Wingnut with a curious waddling gait. When the figure finally comes up to Wingnut, it is revealed to be a penguin, dressed in a ridiculous pirate costume, complete with feather plumed hat, tattered seaman's jacket, rose-lensed goggles, and a wooden toy sword.
"D'arr! I be Cap'n Penguin! Welcome teh' th' Citadel! Have a spot o' grog!" he shouts enthusiastically, tossing Wingnut a frosty mug of green, foamy, salty grog.

Wrong thread, Cap'n.

Welcome to the Citadel.  Don't worry.  It'll only get sillier.

From the tavern a small women appears and starts swearing to the penguin.

Can you never keep your barrels in one piece you silly old fool?
Do you always need to tosh all that stuff around and make a mess wherever you go?
You could try and think for a change you know? Who is going to clean it all up? Are you going to leave all that up to strolen again?
Well????
And now you ...

*with a sudden twitch of changing faces the young women turns to the new arrival*

Oops, I am so sorry you had to witness that, but you know, the penguin can be just like a little spoiled brad.
He has some nice ideas from time to time and he does serve a good grog. (You should not mind the froth though)

At any rate, let me introduce myself, I am Ylorea and most of my time I spent exploring a world known as Teolin. When I have time, I often visit here to do some of my writing. You know jotting down reports and all that.
Feel free to check the boards and other areas. There is much to learn and many to learn it from.
Ask around.

Have a good day and don't mind the penguin too much.

*With that the young lady returns to the tavern and her writing*

Catching the foaming mug with only a slight spill. Wingnut takes a long pull and smacks his lips in appreciation.

“Well brewed Captain.

He wipes the froth from his upper lip and tosses the empty mug back to the elaborately dressed penguin.

“Well met Lady Yleora, Lady Ria, Wingnut states as he takes his hat off and bows to the ladies. “It is a pleasure to meet you. This looks to be a very interesting place.

An elf stroles out of the forest and into the area.
"Greetings. I am Svyel. A druid."
At this he points to a cluster of bushes and gives them the ability to move.
"Tis my specialty. Nature magic. The elements are more interesting."
The he pulls a bubble of water out of nowhere.
The small bushes grab hold of him and procede to attack him. Svyel fights them of and eventually he chokes out the anti spell.
"I always get the final part of my bush spells wrong."
There is a fine line between genius and madness. I'm dancing on it.

“Lady Adel, it is my pleasure to meet you, Wingnut states as he bows to the elvin girl.

“Lord Svyel, I am glad to make your acquaintance also.â€?  He eyes the elvin druid wrestling with the bush, “I think.â€?

*peering over Wingnut's shoulder*
He is a nice guy to talk to, but you better stay a bit clear of him....

Unless of course you have a fancy for bushes as well.
Personaly I do like the woods and rough nature lands, but I have to admit that there is many a moment when meeting Svyel that I feel the urge to keep away from the parts of nature he influences.

Hmm, I think I will be off again and look for the captain. My mug of grog is all empty and looking around, I think he cleared out most of the mess now.

I do hope he has another keg of grog left.

Dear friend captain,

Please be aware of the fact that I warned the new arrival to stay away from the plant friend.

Yes, I will admit, I sort of tried to warn him for flying barrels and the rubble you sometimes leave in your wake....
But besides the latter, I would not tell people to be afraid of you, just to shut their ears from time to time.

I would be most gratefull if you would poor me another mug of your grog. I have to say, I did take some time to grow to like it, but by now I do appreciate it to its value I hope.

Flinching at the sudden outburst.

"I have sampled many a beverage in my day," Wingnut smiles and winks at the Captain. "But I have to say this is the most interesting one yet. I would love another. If you would?"

"Welcome Wingnut, make yourself at home. Try to always leave one catapult loaded with a barrel of grog, other then that do as you will!"

Captain, I must admit... Your grog tastes a lot better drinking it from a goblet as drinking it from the floor.

I do hope we get a streak of fresh rain to wash the last tidbits from the floor... You see where there still are a couple of stains and puddles right next to the wall of our tavern?

*looks at the sky* I am afraid my wish just might come tru, so I will scuttle of back inside and take this pour drunken assistent with me.

*starts pulling wingnut's sleeve* Come along now you young one. Once the rain starts, there is a fair change you will not like it so much anymore to be outside.
