Anyone remember this fetching lass?
Viper, the Scottish dual wielding cannibal badass, who ended up getting decapitated roughly one quarter of the way into the feature film Doomsday. Sad really. She was wrong in all the right ways, a sexy, face tattooed cannibal chick that liked to kill people play with fire.

Hard to forget this handsome fellow, one of the few redeeming features of the Phantom Menace and one of its horrifically underused elements. While on the surface ole Darth Maul has the typical demon motif going, black and red skin pigmentation, yellow eyes, crown of horns and some pretty gnarly teeth. He had no lines worth mentioning, and was pretty much the stoic silent type. Not really fitting the evil villain trope very well, no taunting, no monologues, just taking care of business and chopping Jedi in half. Its a shame that Maul hasn't gotten the same fandom love as Boba Fett.
So Why Do I ask? There are lots and lots of characters who file through the wings and the background of movies and television shows, and many of them are nothing more than filler and we don't care about them. But then there are characters who pop in, and they are killed far too soon, or are under utilized in the story.
Could Maul have a hidden side as a mystic and a seeker of knowledge and wisdom? Is there a philosopher behind the demonic face?
Was Viper more than just a trope laden badass, was there a reason that she was so over the top? Did she have kids, or did she eat them? Did she teach them to be cannibals?
These are the most prominent two that regularly come to mind.
I'd like to do some brainstorming here, and get a list of badasses (good, bad or neutral) who didn't get the time and attention they deserved, and follow that list compilation up with a Quest.
Interest, takers?
