how can they "accidently" not cease to exsist. You know their is a religion that comes close to what you are saying I cannot remember the name I do believe it is Japanese though you see they believe in two souls when a person dies one soul dies however the other can remain living as long as it is remembered it eventually resulted in ancestor veneration!

That's Shintoism.

There's no real specific reason why a spirit refuses to snuff out, but usually it is some great sorrow or a connection to a specific place.

well in all honesty I am A christian but I am open to diffrent Ideas As I am sure you are. Religion after all is a touchy subject. The funny thing is I didn't believe in ghosts until I heard about Clara Stevens (we won't go into that though) and I am not sure if I believe in past lives though I do have certian experiences that seem tied to a past that is not my own (or at least I don't think it is my own?) I for some reason Always get Shintoism and Sihkism mixed up even though they are from completly diffrent backgrounds and hold very diffrent beliefs!

Well, I would! I want to measure the Pope for a scuba-suit! And also, I want to know what the Pope does all day. Does he sit around in his Papal Chambers in his Papal Underwear watching the Pope Channel? Or is, like, constantly on the road going to try and stand up in front of his followers?

Eh. I can think of a couple other things that would be more entertaining than measuring the Pope for a scuba suit. But on the whole past lives thing... I honestly don't know where I stand on that. I've never had what I would call memories of past lives, but my dreams have never been what I would call coherent. I dunno. It's an interesting thing.
