Because it's full of pollution, people, vehicles, noise, and pollution. And people.
Not to mention an absence of nature that's not full of people.

Of course, most of this is only true of southern California.
Northern California's okay, but it still has the same problems to some extent.

You all want to know something? No? Well I am going to tell you anyway.

I found out that my dog is a sympathy dog. When an ambulance passes our house Faith puts her head in her front legs(?) and howles. It is sympathy. Its sad.

No, I don't think so We have other loud noises and none of them bother her. If she is doing some thing and Like today a Fire truck went by she just looked up and dismissed it as nothing. It seems to only be ambulances
