The politics of the Cosmic Era, predominantly the Atlantic Federation
The Atlantic Federation is a Federal Republic, and each of it's sub-states have their own internal forms and processes of government. The Atlantic Federation is governed by a UN style council, where each member state has a seat, and there are other positions: the Secretary-General and the Commander-in-Chief. The SecGen is the leader of the Federation Council, while the CiC is the head of the military forces of the superstate. There is also a Secretary of Economics.
