Well, normally we start voting and get cracking about a month or two after the last quest has finished voting and a winner is decided. But since the last quest was for the Guilds, there really wasn't a winner. Soo....We're kinda in limbo.

Looking at the votes, the top three currently are (in-order):

What the Heck is That?! (where an unusual image is provided and everyone has to write up a sub on it)
The End of all Days: apocalypses, doom-sayers and world-enders!
5 in 1, Round Two! (sans heavy rules)

I'd say lets either roll a d6 for one of those, or just take the top choice and run with it. It's past time for our questing to begin anew.

I agree. The original intent was to pick between the top 3 or 5 so that no one would have an unfair advantage (by writing a sub for the next quest in advance). If people were waiting for me to start the next quest, I'm sorry -- I have no idea how to go about doing that. I just kinda assumed that Strolen would set one off when he was good and ready to.

Alright, I went ahead and removed the "Religions and Cults" option from the poll, possibly freeing up some votes for some people. Remember that you get to choose your top 10, and can revote whenever you feel like it.

How does one revote? All I can do is look at the current votes and see how I voted.

There used to be a "Remove Vote" option on this poll that would allow you to revote as often as you liked. I'm not sure where it went atm

Legal question on the Genre Franchise quest: Is this one even do-able? I know that a lot of people are picky about fan-derived work and intellectual property. Just wanted to make sure it was OK to keep this on the list before I wrote up a summary for it.

I like the Sentient clothing too. The problem I see in "What the Heck!" is that there will be some kind of subjectivity in choosing the image, and it can be hard for some people to write on it, and easy for others. On the other hand it may be the ultimate trial of imagination, so what do I know...

In that spirit, I think it might be worthwhile to choose two pictures and let authors choose one to work off of.

Just did some major reformatting of the main post. Every quest now has a short explanatory blurb that will hopefully explain each quest to someone who is getting ready to vote. Couldn't think of a blurb for two of them, but ah well.

Strolen, I edited the poll again to add in "Tales of Terror" (missed it the first time around, somehow), and the "Remove Vote" option disappeared again. Am I doing something wrong, or will this happen every time I try to change this poll?

There is a check box to "allow edit votes" or something like that. I think it is unchecked by default so I just jumped in there and checked it.

Must be an admin-only option, then. When I try to edit the poll, I only get the following options:

Only show the results after someone has voted.

Only forum admins can see votes.
Only creator and admins can see votes.
Allow everyone to see votes.
