You can be any race you choose. Just pick one I suppose. As for an avatar, you click on the link that says Profile. Scroll to the very bottom. You have three options here. You can pick an avatar from the gallary. You can upload an avatar from your computer, if you have one already saved. Or, you copy it from a website.

The more you post, the more your levels go up. Nah, you don't fight anybody, except maybe in the Freeform Roleplaying forum. That's where all the roleplays happen. No stats or anything. It's just like a round robin.

You level up by how many posts you post. notice the column Exp. gets fuller with every post? when it's full you level up
