I don't believe so. I think that human stupidity has had such a vast impact on this universe that even after we are gone there will always be a lasting trace. We have already almost finished destroying our atmosphere, and what do you think will happen when our technolodgy (sp?) advances even further? We will stop at nothing unti; we have destroyed the entire universe.

Actually, the most damaging resource used on this world is the ocean. It creates 70% of all green house gases that fill the atmosphere. There are even trees that create these gases; Atlanta, Georgia is surrounded by them.

As far as the holes in the atmosphere, they have found that these holes open and close on a regular basis. It seems the atmosphere was created to react this way so that we did not suffocate from the gases the world naturally generates.

That doesn't destroy the case for conservation, however! Every day, we're destroying more and more rainforest! Species are going extinct by the dozen!

In some countries, yes. Like the Philippines, where rainforests were decimated without being replaced.

In america we have laws in place where logging companies are to replant after taking-out trees. In fact, we have a larger tree population today, than there was at the turn of the twentieth century.
