Splatbook 62 - More Dwarves!

Make sure that your shovel and pick are sharp, and your will is outstanding for this episode! Join DM's Glen, Brian, Cory, and Fulongamer as they delve once again into the world of dwarves. After catching up on what each of the hosts have been doing over the past week (no emails?? Seriously, people?? C'mon now, get on the stick!), they start mining (get it?) for information. First they start off with a long form discussion about the Highborn kit from the Complete Book of Dwarves (which twists and turns into other things, despite Brian's attempts to keep it on track), then from there they talk about where and when proficiency check should be used, and then finish up with the Dragon's Delve adventure from Dungeon Magazine #62.

You can find us on Osrgaming.org, d20radio.com, Facebook, iTunes, Planetadnd.com and Twitter (@thacoshammer), as well as our home at http://www.thacoshammer.info from which we stream all of our episodes from the very beginning up to the present day. If you are looking for an RSS feed or a different way of downloading the show directly, the address is: http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/talkCast.jsp?masterId=94174&cmd=tc

Make sure your chainmail is repaired and your blades are sharpened, because we are going way back in this episode! Join DMs Glen, Brian, Cory and Fulongamer and special guest and longtime contributor DM Cojo as we delve into another of the historical splatbooks! But before that is done, they answer emails about XP splitting with a multiclassed character, using monster poison on weapons, new players taking over existing characters, and the topic of dual-classing.

With those done, they move on to the topics. First they riff on gaining proficiencies, then they have a discourse on what to do as a DM when the party is incomplete. From there they tackle the deadly Aurumvorax, and then with a big assist from DM Cojo (who is a schoolteacher, dontchaknow), they discuss the second historical green splatbook, Charlemagne's Paladins.

You can find us on Osrgaming.org, d20radio.com, Facebook, iTunes, Planetadnd.com and Twitter (@thacoshammer), as well as our home at http://www.thacoshammer.info from which we stream all of our episodes from the very beginning up to the present day. Splatbook 65 - Various and Sundry VII

It's yet another mixed bag of topics! Join DMs Glen, Fulongamer and Brian as they roll on the topics chart, and what comes up, comes up! After answering some emails, they get existential with it by asking why the players' characters adventure, fully explore the Travelers clerical spell sphere, load up on sling stones and darts, and then bring it home with a discussion about the Behir.

Make sure your heart is pure and not to underestimate your opponent in this episode! Join DMs Glen, Brian, Fulongamer and Cory as they delve into the meat of these topics. Splatbook 72 - Drow rhymes with now, not row!

Make sure you have plenty of rations and plenty of light spells memorized in this episode! Join DMs Glen, Cory, Brian and Fulongamer as they tackle one of the most powerful and scary opponents PCs can ever face: The Drow! After answering some emails, they draw blades and get after it. First off they start with a bit of an overview of the drow, then they come up with some rather twisted ideas for alternative campaigns for the drow. After unbending their brains they move on to the Drow of the Underdark supplement, and wrap up the show with a discussion of the drow's innate magical abilities.
