It should go without saying the mechanic has a few repair skills, specifcally:

Jury Rigging: 75%
Starship Mechanics: 55%:
Starship propulsion systems: 45%

These were the levels Mystic felt appropriate for the skills when he was GM, if you are fine with them being higher or whatnot let me know Echo and I'll adjust to the appropriate level for the game.

Fast forwarding past the somewhat mundane repair scene would work just as well as applying pressure, and then cut to something more exciting, such as the impending Space suit assault against the Rogue vessel.
