Erica just stood next to the farmer, savoring the delightful feeling after a good fight. "You speak one unpleasant word to the bookworm, and I punch you. Hard."
The tower gleamed, half ethereal. "I think it is a construct of magic, and a conduit to a rather unpleasant realm. It must be explored, used to retrieve the peasants and artifacts of interest, then sealed from this side."
