We are currently in the process of creating 1 (or 2) characters.

dark_dragon is not sure whether he wants to continue playing Cormac, due to Helena. He wants to be IC and chances are the most IC thing to do is to settle down for a while. If he retires Cormac he reserves the right to play him again in the future.

The other character is Echo's. Echo is working on two concepts and will send me both when he is ready.

As for me: I will publish the Rouge Tower primer, quickly followed by a quick summary of the last six months.

Then I will post the opening post. That means the "Bleak Wood Episode 3 - Rouge Tower" thread will have three posts before you guys can start posting.

Looking forward to this.

The game will commence anywhere between within a couple of days, to within 10 days.

The Situation:
#1: dark_dragon is back, but we need to do some GM-player work concerning his character.
#2: EchoMirage is "away, but available", meaning that he shouldn't really be posting much, but he will anyways since he is a forum junkie.
#3: Murometz is wrapping up an epic battle in AuR. He really wants to finish that before focusing on Bleak Wood.

All this leads to the following:
Official game launch postponed till Sunday afternoon, CET.

I will probably post the game opening before that, but YOU guys (excepting dark_dragon) have no obligations before Sunday.

As for Deedee's "darker than expected" comment, Wesknife would be far lighter if he was a social engineer rather than assassin, steering things so that we dirtsiders are favorably inclined to spacers.

WHAT I WANT YOU ALL TO DO:

1. Go to the character creation thread (see my signature for direct link)

2. Click "Modify" on your own character profile (i.e. dark_dragon clicks "Modify" on the forum post for Codename::Wesknife)

3. Mark all of the text in the text area (Click inside the text area, then ctrl+a for windows users)

4. Copy all the text (ctrl + c for windows users)

5. Go to the Bleak Wood: Nightfall forum

6. Create a new thread. Call it <Character Name> and then paste your character info into that thread. (Ctrl + v for windows users)

7. Click "Post" to post your character directly into the forum thread.

8. Make sure your character is UP TO DATE. Kiph, *cough* for instance *cough* has listed a mind probe skill of 10%. Are you really sure he is that low still, Muro? For I WILL use the listed scores and equipment when in doubt. I WILL NOT read through every fricken' post and private message to find your character's relevant score.

So... I guess that 10% would SUCK BAD if you needed your mind probe in a critical fight, or what Kiphster?

I used Kiph as an example. Most of you are guilty of not updating your character. Such failure can cause unneeded character death.

I got a table top session this weekend. Friday + Saturday.

So, I am dropping off the forum gaming radar for a few days. I will be back sunday-monday.

I do hope some of you have posted by then. This is basically a player interaction sequence. My presence is not needed.
