Figured it was probably worth an announcement since it changes what you might be used to.
We reimplemented a grace period for HoHs and Goldens. They will now have a 10 day period after submission where you will not be able to Golden or HoH the subs. This gives them a chance to get some comments, maybe some updates by the author, and for them to fall off the frontpage. At that point the revitalization of HoH would be more appropriate and/or any edits/updates should be mostly finished to allow for a truly Golden review.
The buttons will not be viewable during this time which is the biggest change. Once the 10 days is up, then the buttons will return for your clicking pleasure.
