The Witcher was game I felt picked up the legacy after Gothic 1 with it's grim realism, let's hope this game will deliver. I could start playing games again.

Actually, it seems this winter-spring will be gaming season! There are a number of computer roleplaying games coming up, including the Baldur's Gate-ish "Dragon Age" (november), Mass Effect 2 (space rpg - january), and now the witcher (which will probably come much later).

I played Risen, MJS, Piranha Bytes' unofficial Gothic sequel.

It was alright, and truly Gothic-y, but nothing to write home about.

A lot better than Gothic 3 though.
