Popular Fantasy: Clash of the Titans

For those of you to young to remeber, The Clash of the Titans was a great movie from 1981 that showcased the cutting edge of special effects and 80's hair. It's a great movie about Greek mythology and frankly blows away disney's hercules. It's a classic of fantasy movies and has some of the best stop-motion photography in any movie.

Here's a link for those of you who are to young:

After a brief retirement while I got married and traveled the country, I'm back. Just getting back into the swing of things for now, but gearing up to hit things up like I used to.

Now that movie rocks!!!! Oldy but Goody for certain.

It has got it all and even the choppy 'technology' doesn't detract from the overall story and excitement.

Paton and Full Metal Jacket?

Where did that come from? Those aren't old!? and wrong genre.

You MUST see Clash to understand.

Have you seen The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad at least? That will give you an idea.

I love the little mechanical owl in Clash.

The owl was most ingenious and I thout they did an excellent job with medusa. I actually saw that movie in the theaters.

(Let's see, 1981. . . that would make me. . . oh never mind!)

As far as Patton is concerned, that was filmed in the early 70's and I believe it was one of the last films George C. Scott acted in. He preferred to act in plays and did so quite well. He did come back and perform in the movie Taps; He had a small role, but it still was a good one.
Conan! What are three great things in life?

To crush your enemies; to have them flee before you, and to hear the lamenations of their women.

State of the Art Stop Motion Animation. Didn't it win an oscar/ award for those?

It really was a great movie.
