Setting:
Surian Islands: Thousands of islands that rest in a huge chain that stretch between the Kingdom of Pardus and the Empire of the Sun. Once rumored to be great land called Sundar that was swallowed up by the ocean, it is now populated by fierce men wild with anger.
Mist Oceans of Sundar: Fog-covered Ocean of oceans that rests between Pardus and the Empire. They are thousands of miles wide. The only way across is Way Stations on several islands along the way.
Helion: The continent where the Empire resides, and said to dominate the world. It is mostly united under the Emperor.
Giant Forests of Vale: A huge forest that covers much of the Eastern Coast of Helion. It is said to be the last bastion of strength of the mysterious Kanadorans.
Black Desert: A huge desert covers all of the southern part of Helion and ruled by the ruthless Ikal. Few have withstood the extreme heat. The Ikal travel in small bands across the Black Desert now and are said to have a hidden city deep within the Black Desert.
Urid Wastes: The remainder of a huge battlefield in the far North against the former Empire of Tyre; the results of a magical bombardment that saw the destruction of the Empire of Tyre and all the Legions of the Empire of the Sun. Only the Terekai roam the Wastes.
Pardus: A powerful country on the Eastern coast of Orod, and separated from the rest of Orod by the Cordar Mountains, Pardus is ruled by fierce men.
Orod: A mysterious continent in the West, and said to be even larger than Helion. Not much is known beyond the borders of Pardus, the Cordar Mountains blocking access to the rest of the continent.
Cordar Mountains: Mountains that cut off the rest of Orod from Pardus. Miles high, they are said to contain monsters and Daemons.
Mondus Plains: The majority of the landscape of Helion, it is fed by the Girin Delta and the Mondus River.
Girin Delta: The Southeastern Delta that is the stretch of land between the forests of Vale to the North and Black Desert to the South, the Girin Delta has several rivers that stretch into the Mondus Plains.
Mondus River: The largest river of the Girin Delta. It starts in the Girin Delta and ends in the Northwest in the Mist Oceans of Sundar, splitting the Helion continent in half.
Girin River: The border between the Giant Forests of Vale and the Mondus Plains, it is the frontier land of the Empire.
Metrina Cliffs: Giant cliffs that stretch along the entire Western coast of Helion, they break at only a few key locations that are guarded strenuously by the Sun Legions.
Nogra Valley: A great valley sitting in the very center of the Mondus Plains, the Nogra Valley resides the Great City of Helius.
Western Slopes: The foothills of the Cordar Mountains, they contain many hidden caves and dangerous wild lands.
Helius: The Golden City, it is the capital of the Empire of the Sun and where the Sun Palace resides. It is also the largest city in all of Helion.
Sun Palace: Taking up the entire center of the Golden City, it is where the Emperor’s Chosen and Emperor himself reside.
Sora: The Jewel of the West, the city was built by the Kanadorans long ago. It is famous for its gardens and wide roads. It rests in the center of the Girin Delta with the mighty Mondus River running through it as well as the Girin River.
Ruins of Teler: The ancient ruins of Teler, built nearly eight thousand years ago, it is studied by the Helian Order and said to be a beautiful fortress but indestructible if it still stood. Teler is said to be a wonder of engineering.
Caladin: The most Northern city of Helion, Caladin is famous for having withstood the Terekai in the War of the North and having some of the most impressive fortifications.
The Laen Highlands: The Northern Border to the Urid Wastes, the Laen Highlands are a beautiful, but cold, land of rugged hills and gullies.
Taein: One of the oldest settlements in all of Helion, it has grown gone from the capital of the Empire of Tyre to a small town, having been burned down by the Sun Army in 19 AE.
Kanad: The Fortress of Light in the West, it holds a Sun Legion called the Western Legion. They guard the Metrina Cliffs.
Uron: Guarding the Laen Highlands from the Terekai in the North, it was assaulted by the Terekai and suffered massive damage. The Northern Legion calls Uron home.
Carmala: The Fortress of Light in the East, Carmala sits on the Girin River and watched for any threat against the Hellions from Kanador. The Eastern Legion calls it home.
Norgrod: Having been built to watch the Black Desert, it rests in the Bitter Hills against Ikal. It fought an Ikal Army in 94 AE and was able to repel them. The Southern Legion calls it home.

 Timeline:
20,000-10,001 BE (Before Emperor): The Three Gods walk on the World of Talassar. They create the First Race of the world and great things are made and lost during this time. They are We’a the Sky God, Sca’ar the Earth God, and La’on the Flame God. The First Race, called the Perfect, are created by the Three Gods to inhabit the super-continent of Talra. The Holy City of the Gods is said to rest in the very center of Talra. There is peace and prosperity for all who wish it.
10,000 BE: The Three Gods leave the World, and never to be seen again. They abandon the races to their own devices. No one knows for what reasons they did, but they said the skies were aflame and the ground shook. What remains behind were the violent Elementals that would rage across the surface of Talassar for nearly nine hundred years. During this time, the First Race are sundered into the many races of Talassar by the terrible destruction being wrought on Talassar. The super-continent is broken apart to create the known continents of Helion, Orod, Herron, and Sundar. The Holy City of the Gods falls into the sea, and is said to rest in the Uncharted Waters.
9101 BE: The Great Empire of Neron rises in the far North on the lost continent of Herron. With the help of powerful Neronian magic, they destroy many of the Great Elementals. Not much is known of the First Empire, only that they would mysteriously fall three thousand years later, the continent of Herron being destroyed by violent storms and becoming locked under the sea. Again, no one knows why. Many speculate that the Elementals strike against the rise of the Neronians, in fear of their magic.
7818 BE: The Elementals become too fixed to the world and eventually become unable to form corporeal form. They are bonded to Talassar and lose much of their power. The last of the Great Elementals, Ni’ss’di disappears in the sea. It is said Ni’ss’di would not be seen for more than six thousand years.
6732 BE: The Empire of Kanador and the Ikallim Kingdom rises on Helion. The Empire of Kanador were made up of the Long Lived, those who had said to have been blessed by the Gods and said to be a remnant of the Perfect. The Inkallim were dark and swarthy people, said to have been twisted by the Elementals. They would wage holy war against each other for millennia. The first use of Elementra Magic was conducted by the Kanadorans and remained a deep secret among the elite.
5609 BE: The Black Desert comes to existence, and smothers the Ikallim Kingdom. The Kanador strike and destroy much of the Ikallim society. Some said it was divine intervention from the Gods, while others said it was the arrogance of the Inkallim. Many scholars now say it was the power of Elementra Magic, which gave Kanadorans to summon and control minor Elementals. However, in this case many speculate that it was a Great Elemental, one of the Fire Elementals.
5600 BE: The Great Age for the Empire of Kanador. They subdue the tribes of Helion and spread across the continent. They build the fortress city of Sora in the Girin Delta and the ancient citadel of Teler in the Metrina Cliffs.
5589 BE: The Kingdom of Sundar rises on the Sundar Continent between Orod and Helion. They are made up of powerful Mages said to be descended from the mighty Neronians. They are a far cry from the nearly-invincible Neronian Wizards, but they are still strong. They steal the art of Elementra Magic from the Kanadorans and perfect the art of Elementra Magic, becoming masters in the Elementra Magic, far surpassing the power the Kanadorans had of it.
5391 BE: First recording of a Daemon. A Daemon was a creature caused when a Mage attempted to summon a Elemental too powerful to control, causing the Elemental to possess and then become the Daemon. The first Daemon, Maelkor, is hunted down by a collection of Mages called the Conclave and finally killed with heavy casualties. The Conclave become an official order within Sundar.
5239 BE: First humans from Sundar reach the Pardus Plains on Orod. There, they encounter primitive human tribes that are said to be from Sundar, but lack the inherent magic innate in all Sundarians. The tribes make up for it for being extremely militant against the Sundarians.
5000 BE: Bands of tribes and clans war across the surface of Helion and against the great kingdoms of Kanador and Sundar, who had established strongholds in the Metrina Cliffs. Some of the most powerful are the Crigar, Tyren, Hemlok, and Justini. These tribes and clans are mighty warriors, said to be gifted by their own God of War, Gerod. The Great Age of Kanador ends with the destruction of Teler being burned to the ground and being replaced with the Sundarian Fortresses of Faust and Ureno.
4901 BE: Kanador is defeated by a joint army of Sundarians and Helion tribes. Kanador retreats into their last bastion of strength. The Giant Forests of Vale. There, they stop the Sundarians and Helion tribes from continuing. The alliance between the Sundarians and Helion tribes dissolves in blood with the Justini and Hemlok tribes entirely wiped out and nearly half of the Sundarian Army destroyed. The Tyren and Crigar survive, but barely. The Sundarian Army would not attempt another incursion into Helion for nearly two thousand years.
4674 BE: The first great Empire of Mored rises on Helion by the bare hands of Johann Mored. With the help of the Sundarians, King Mored unites the tribes of Helion and rules with an iron fist. He keeps the Kanadorans and Ikal in their respective places with the help of the Sundarians backing him. He is the first non-Sundarian to learn Elementra Magic, in fact becoming the first to twist the magic to a highly personal use, able to wield Elemental Armor and Weapons.
4153 BE: The Empire of Mored falls by the Black Desert, led by the Ikallim, elite warriors of the Black Desert. They had survived the Desert by sheer will and power and became terrifying assassins. Some said they were paid by Sundarians, who had feared the rise of the Empire of Mored.
3238 BE: The Ikallim are pushed out of their foothold on Helion and into the Black Desert by the Crigar Tribes of the Mondus Plains who attempt to unite the Tribes like the Empire of Mored had. They fail when the Tyren Tribe, backed by Sundar, defeats them near the Nogra Valley.
2419 BE: Arises the Mage Orders of Sundar and the Mage-King Marxis who leads Sundar to its prime. During this time, Helion and Orod become vassal states of the Sundarian Empire despite fierce resistance from both. The Crigar Tribe is annihilated near the ancient city of Sora. Elementra Magic is forbidden to all non-Sundarians and the Mage Orders decree that no mere Sundarian may learn the arts.
1980 BE: The Orodions lead a successful rebellion against the Sundarians. The nations of Norvor and Mazon are created to rule Orod. Each nation joins in an alliance to continue the war against Sundar. However, the Sundarians, knowing that their great armies are being pushed back through the Plains of Pardus, raise a great chain of mountains that would be called the Cordar Mountains, in honor of the Sundarian Mage-General Cordar. The last to be seen of either nation of Norvor and Mazon was remnants of their army that had been trapped on the Western Slopes of the Cordar Mountains. They are later slaughtered by a counterattack from Sundar. In the end, the Sundarians are able to retain control of Pardus.
1967 BE: Cordar is consumed by the Elemental he summoned to create the Cordar Mountains. And the Conclave is called to defeat him. Cordar is hunted for nearly two decades before finally being cornered in Pardus and defeated. He leaves behind several hundred innocents dead, and dozens of the Conclave murdered.
1629 BE: The Tyren Tribes of Helion rise to power and dominate the Helion Tribes. They begin plotting against the Sundarians with the help of the other tribes. For many years, they plan on defeating the all-mighty Sundarians. It is even said that the Tyrens go to their enemy, the Kanadorans and Ikal, for help against Sundar. There, they learn Elementra Magic from the Kanadorans.
1489 BE: The long thought plans of the Tyrens come to fruition and the Blood War is fought between Sundar and Tyre. For two hundred years, the Sundarians and Tyrens fight until Tyre is defeated and believed to be wiped out. Unbeknownst to the Sundarians, the Tyrens escape to the Urid Plains in the North where they nourish the magic they had learned.  They would not come to strength again for four hundred years.
1012 BE: The Mage-King Kor of Sundar becomes extremely arrogant, believing himself a God and willingly calls himself the Master of the Elementals. He begins practicing with stronger and stronger Elementals. No one is for sure what happens, but many believe that a botched attempt at an enchantment to make Sundar rise from the water fails. Instead, Sundar is sunk into the ocean except for the Surian Mounds, mountains that had dotted the Sundarian landscape. Kor is last seen being consumed by the Great Elemental Hidre of the Sea who people say is Ni‘ss‘di. The heart of the Sundarian Empire is gone.
1000- 812 BE: The Black Years. The Kanador and Ikal launch several forays and attacks against the tribes of Helion. Sickness and mortality raises at this time and infighting increases. On Pardus, civil war erupts and would not end for two hundred years. What little remains of the Sundarians attempt to hold onto what they have left. Unfortunately, they become assimilated by the natives. The number of Daemons increase tenfold and wreck havoc across Talassar.
811 BE: From the Black Years rises the Tyre Tribe once more from their strongholds in the Urid Plains. They unite the tribes of Helion and push the Kanador and Ikal back into their respective homelands, the Vale and Black Desert. They create the Order to fight the Daemons, and successfully push the Daemons out of Helion.
671 BE: Pardus is united once more by King Jovian the Great. He begins the Great Peace of Pardus that would not be stopped until 281 BE. He creates his own organization to fight Daemons, called Daemonhunters to fight Daemons.
309 BE: The Empire of Tyre reaches its golden age. Tyre expands its border to its largest extent. The last great battle against the Kanador is fought at the Girin River where the Long Lived are slaughtered by a Great Elemental said to be Girin himself.
281 BE: Monsters that would become known as orks, goblins, ogres, and trolls rise in the Cordar Mountains. They are said to be the offspring of Daemons and humans. The Greenskin Wars are fought between Pardus and the greenskins.
163 BE: The Greenskin Wars end between Pardus and the Greenskins, after the King of Pardus gains an alliance with the Urk Tribe of Orks.
117 BE: The Turmoil begins in the Empire of Tyre. The Kanador and Ikal rise once more and begin attacking villages and cities along the borders of the Giant Forest of Vale and the Black Desert. Taxes and sickness rise with each year. The Order becomes increasingly difficult to control by the Kings of Tyre.
95 BE: The Order War is fought between the Order and Tyren Army. The Order is wiped out in their Monastery in the Metrina Cliffs. Some are said to escape to the Surian Islands.
000 BE: The Emperor comes mysteriously from the east, sailing in a great ship from the Girin Delta. He is at first welcomed by the Tyrens. There, he stops in city of Sora where he establishes his presence. The Lady of Sora, the leader of the city, takes the Emperor as her husband. It is said that the Emperor holds the name of Xavier Xanthe. Many prophesize he could be the Sun God, La’on, himself.
10 AE (After Emperor): The Emperor’s power grows until he has a loyal following of thousands who believe him to be a God Returned. He rules the Senate, the ruling body of Tyre, with subtle and grace. The Tyrens, threatened by his growing power in the Province of Sora, attempt to assassinate him. The Lady of Sora is killed and the Province of Sora later follows with a Declaration of Independence and the Emperor calls for an army to be raised.
12 AE: The Tyren Army and rebel Soran Army fight outside the gates of Sora. The Soran Army is destroyed and the victorious Tyren Army marches into Sora to take control of the city. The Emperor escapes with most of the city’s inhabitants.
12-18 AE: The Emperor and many thousands hide in the Laen Highlands just South of the Urid Plains. During this time, the Tyren Army attempts to find him while the Emperor trains the thousands following him.
19 AE: The Sun Army marches from the Laen Highlands and stops at the Nogra Valley in the very heart of the Empire of Tyre and near the capital of the Empire, Taein. The Tyrens are defeated for the first time by the rebel Sun Army and the Emperor at the Nogra Valley. Prince Nuril, the only heir to the King of Tyre, is killed. The Emperor marches and burns Taein to the ground.
23 AE: The Tyren Army is fought once more at the fortress of Faust. Faust is burned to the ground and fifty thousand Tyrens drove into the sea. Later that year, the Emperor is made Emperor of the Holy Empire of the Sun. Hundreds of thousands of civilians declare allegiance to the Emperor.
24 AE: The Emperor creates the Sun Legions and thousands flock to join the elite Sun Legions. The Tyrens, having been badly defeated, flee to the Urid Plains to their many strongholds throughout the Urid Plains.
24-34 AE: The Emperor consolidates his leadership of Helion and demolishes the Senate. He keeps his capital in Sora and begins plans to the building of Helius. The Watch is developed in the Laen Highlands to keep the Tyrens in place.
34 AE: The first recording of the sight of the Emperor's Chosen. These golden skinned warriors are terrifying to behold, each one a deadly warrior. Some say they are Angels of the Emperor, and many of the former Senators hate them.
38 AE: The former Senators of Tyre attempt a coup with a small army located in the Mondus Plains bordering the Black Desert. The Senatorial Army is annihilated by a single half-trained Sun Legion.
46 AE: The Tyren Army tries the last time to take over Helion. They marched with renewed strength against the Emperor. The Emperor assembles an army to meet them. The Battle of Caladin is fought for several days before the Tyren Army is defeated. The inexperienced Sun Legions have proven their worth.
46-47 AE: The Emperor decided it was time to destroy the Tyrens once and for all. He gathers twenty Sun Legions of five thousand soldiers each to march against a reported two hundred thousand Tyrens remaining in the Urid Plains.
47-48 AE: The Last Battle is fought for almost a year between the Sun Legions and Tyren Army. The Urid Plains soon become black and a muddy plain of broken armor and skeletons. The Tyrens, seeing they are being defeated, call upon their magic that had saved them from the Sundarians so long ago. A huge explosion erupts from the center of the Urid Plains. When the Emperor returns south, he barely has two Legions with him left. What was once the Urid Plains has become the Urid Wastes.
52 AE: The Sun Palace and the Temple of Flame are the first buildings erected in the Nogra Valley. Worship of the Emperor as a God becomes the dominant religion on Helion.
55 AE: The Elemental Knights are formed, able to defeat Daemons. They are able to annihilate every single Daemon walking Helion. The remaining Daemons are said to flee to the Surian Islands or all the way to Pardus.
61 AE: The Emperor promises a time of prosperity and power for everyone. He defeats the Ikal, remnants of the Tyren Army, Kanadorans, and Surian Raiders. He establishes the Sunair Council, a body of Lords to watch over respective states within Helion. The Helian Order is formed as the organization of the Elemental Knights as well as be the scholars of Helion.
67 AE: Pardus suffers from a drastic increase of Daemons. Due to having been pushed out of Helion, many flee to Pardus. There, the Daemonhunters are hard pressed to keep the Daemon population under control. The Daemon Invasion will last for ninety years.
72 AE: The Daemon Warlord Jaralax, unites the many Daemons and kills the King of Pardus. He becomes the first Daemon King, and outlaws the Daemonhunters. These are the Black Years for Pardus.
79 AE: Helius is established in the Nogra Valley, as well as the four Fortresses of Light. Kanad in the West, Uron in the North, Carmala in the East, and Norgrod in the South. Each Fortress of Light are massive creations that effectively end many incursions from all sides on Helion.
82 AE: The Emperor’s Chosen are made the elite bodyguards of the Emperor and his official envoys. The Emperor’s Chosen are said to be led by Jaysen, the mightiest sword master in all the world.

159 AE: The Daemonhunters are able to gather enough support in the Western Slopes among the rebels and outlaws to storm the Daemon Keep in the capital of Stormgrad. The Daemon King is killed and the Daemon Keep destroyed.
160 AE: Baran Nightwing, the leading Daemonhunter, is made King of Pardus. He increases the number of Daemonhunters and brings back the Pardus Army to help stop the still-massive Daemon population. The Daemon War will be fought for ten years.
172 AE: King Baran and the Pardus Army defeat the last Daemon Army in the Western Slopes. The surviving Daemons flee into the Cordar Mountains. There, they are met by the Greenskins where many Daemons are killed before being said to flee to the other side of the Mountains.
173 AE: Pardus establishes contact with the Empire of Norvor on the other side of the Cordar Mountains via the Halcatrax Pass, a secret previously known only to the Greenskins. The Empire of Norvor rules all of Orod on the Eastern side of the Mountains. Pardus and Norvor flourish with the sudden trade between the countries.
179 AE: The Empire of Norvor attempt to send a massive army through the Halcatrax Pass. The Norvorians are hounded all the way by Greenskins until they are defeated on the other side by the Pardus Army. The Norvorians sit in bitterness at the loss of twenty thousand Norvorians and the inability to unite Orod.
513 AE: The first sighting of the Terekai. The War of the North is fought for nearly three years until the Sun Legions are finally able to defeat the Terekai and push them back into the Urid Wastes.

Elementals: The eldest race to still exist, the Elementals were once free to roam Talassar, but after the Great War fought against the Gods, have become fixed to Talassar and their Focus Points and are unable to summon spectral form unless summoned by a Mage.
Ork: Said to be the mixing of demon and human, Orks live primarily in the Cordar Mountains and Western Slopes. They are intelligent and often leaders of Greenskin Tribes. They wage war occasionally against Pardus and Norvor.
Ogre: The regular troops of a Greenskin Army, Ogres are a mix between Trolls and Orks and stand around seven feet tall and are twice the strength of a man.
