Assistance with Coding

I want to insert a couple of URL links in a sub I am working on, but I dont want to clutter it up with the long string of http.blahblah/more stuff.com

I would rather just have a word or two that behaves like a normal in site link.

How do I do this? I know it can be done.

HTML works almost completely normal within sub text. You're looking for this HTML tag:

<a href="http://www.blahblahblah.com/whatever/">What word you want to display as a link</a>

Actually, this is sadly one very buggy area of the Citadel's innards that still awaits fixing.


Use the HTML tag as displayed by Chaosmark, but without quotes. Just don't use them.

Worse is, if you edit a post, they will be put in automatically, making the link _vanish_.
