This is a great thread forgotten. Showing once again the weakness of a forum system, as really great stuff gets lost after a short burst of activity.

I was thinking about B5 due to the other thread, and went looking for these quotes.
Sage, Gamer, Mystic, Wit
"The road less traveled is less traveled for a reason."
"The world needs dreamers to give it a soul."
"And it needs realists to keep it alive."

"Everybody knows that everybody dies, and nobody knows it like the Doctor.  But I think that all the skies in all the worlds would turn dark if he ever for one moment accepted it.

Everybody knows that everbody dies.  But not every day.  Not today.  Some days are special.  Some days are blessed.  Some days, nobody dies at all.  Some days, when the wind is fair and the Doctor comes to call... everyone lives."

 - "Silence in the Library", Doctor Who

"A Shwat?"

The Capt. - Firefly "Shindig"
They were immediately and absolutely recognizable as adventurers... They were hardy and dangerous, lawless, stripped of allegiance or morality, living off their wits, stealing and killing, hiring themselves out to whoever and whatever came. They were inspired by dubious virtues.  China Mieville - Perdido Street Station
