If one sails roughly northeast for three days journey from the land of Erezi, one may come upon pleasant shore of the Island of Leudus. A large blot of land in the midst of a great ocean, Leudus is known for the unique, layed-back ways of it's people, it's beautiful geography, and the Crystals of Whispers.
Leudites are a smallish folk, averaging 4'9" to 5'6". Most have blonde or brown hair, and they almost uniformly wear their hair shaggy and long, sometimes in a ponytail or number of braids. They often appear very childlike and many a traveller has asked an adult Leudite to "fetch your mother or father so that I might speak with them." Leudite dress for males is usually a pair of baggy trousers and leggings underneath, many-clasped and strapped leather shoes (Fishermen often have steel cleats on the bottom of these shoes), a collared undershirt of varying design, and a short jacket, also of varying design. For women, the usual dress is a knee-length skirt, leggings, and the same strange, leather, many-clasped shoes, in addition to a shirt of varying design. Leudites never, ever cover their heads, by an ancient superstition (Explained later). Leudites also wear almost no adornment, what little there is usually consists of an ornament of silver with a small shard of one of the Crystals of Whispers.
