Got back from Shipshewana Indiana last night, it was a 10+ hour drive, with the road construction. It was great, the food was great and there was alot of it, and walking around Shipshewana during the Mayday Festival and seeing all of the horses and carriages and the community that caters to the Amish (and tourists) was neat. It gives some perspective on what it was like prior to mass rapid transportation. Everything in town closed at 5PM, but everything was open at 5AM, no alcohol anywhere, and it is actually easier to laugh and carry on. Believe it or not. You have to watch what you say around most people since almost anything can be turned to something perverted, sexual, or just simply wrong.
I asked a very pretty waitress how the cream pie was. The answer, very good
