Eh, I didn't like the Village as much as 6th Sense.  M. Knight went down after that movie imho.

I think the most hatable villian goes to Archibald Cunningham in Rob Roy. He buggered people just to piss off the Hero, fostered bastards because he could, killed for the fun of it, and could not give a rats ass about anyone except himself.
