Woah! Are those vampire pumpkins and water-melons for real?

As silly as it seems, I think it is for real (in as much as it is a real superstition)

I'm convinced that they're a real superstition.

When I mentioned that possibility to my sister yesterday, she accused me of making the whole thing up. I guess I'm going to do some research on this and see what I can dig up.

Thanks for showing me this stuff,Scras. The vampire water-melons have certainly inspired the seeds of an idea within me.

P:S:What do you think would be the best way of putting a vampire melon to rest? If these things did exist in your fantasy world, that is.

I don't know about putting them to rest but I sure wouldn't make a pie out of them. That was how the original vampires were created.

How about a vampire pumpkin stuffed with fried spiders?
