According to the sources I've dug up: Day Watch is refined and does not have any cheesy parts, like Night Watch did. They say it is superior in every regard, and these people loved Night Watch. Now. There is hype for you. Hope it lives up to the hype.

I loved Night Watch, but then I am used to films from all nations. Night Watch was worth a re-watch, which I almost never do.

Yes, there is less cheesiness, and more more money spent on special effects, so I guess you will like Day Watch.
