I went with the flow of my post, but I'm afraid it might not be the best solution. Ho well, here goes nothing. (I reckon the nanites will work. It takes a while to die from exsanguination, and from the place the shrapnel hit, its the nanites or nothing)

Ok, my post will most likely mean death. If you find it in the kindness of your heart to let me live AG, that's most merciful, but you don't have to.

(Brevil would like to see her die first, though)

Brevil is dead
Riv is dying
Kiph is unconscious

This went well :/

dark_dragon: Your attack was a special success and would have killed the mutant, even let you survive.
valadaar: Your fourth attack was a critical success (a natural 04), and just what you needed to detonate the ammo. If not for the explosion you and Kiph would surely have survived, though Brevil would probably have died.

The combination of these two attacks proved to be overkill.

On the upside, the mutant is dead, dead, dead. And dead.

Well, I'm going to have to make a combat optimised mercenary with no sense of duty (make that no emotions), and especially, (And that last one is important) no crazy mutant gattling-gun-wielding ex-girlfriends.

1. Bleak Wood is bleak. It is a post apocalyptic horror-action roleplaying game, and not anything like high fantasy. Yes, you will be killing stuff, but only the cunning of the player separates him from certain death. You will not be protected by high levels, vast amounts of magic items and an immense pool of hit points.

ONE GOOD HIT AND YOU MIGHT DIE!

But, and this is important, you guys did EXCELLENT killing it off. Your ideas were great.

I award all survivors with 20 extra points to distribute, no more than 5 in one place.

I am impressed. Actually thought you would beg for mercy or run away. Or that Riv would shoot her in the face.

As for you DARK_DRAGON:
another killer without emotions, eh? Well, your social skills seem to be plummeting by the minute. Lets hope you won't enter a technological enclave then

Hm. As for the one-good-hit-death part. It may be less suited for a forum game. In a tabletop game with this system, you can react quicker, discuss with your fellows, etc. etc.
In a forum game on which you spend weeks to get to -something- and then get knocked out and/or die... well, that sucks a bit. In a tabletop game where you play two hours, die then... well, that's a different matter.

I guess I won't play this anymore.
