Ok, Is anybody not alright with me describing a nighttime stop around a fire a day or so before we reach bleak wood? (that way we can decide what we're going to do when we get there, and generally talk about a plan of attack.)

By the way, I'm not sure whether you'll want to roll something for everybody else for me taking the gear. I'm not exactly hiding, but I'm not advertising the fact either.

ooc - Riv is very congnisent and aware of the gear - I did not make a stink about it being considered party treasure, but if anyone touches the shield devices since Riv's declaration, he will empty several round of buckshot into them. He wants all of the shielding system and will not allow it to simply disappear without a fight. My understanding is all of the labeled items are a matched set. We will devide things openly otherwise unless you want this party to decrease in number rapidy

AG - Rivs action on attempted theft will be simply to kill him.

Drakler - please don't make me have to detail how Riv handles his treasure - I really don't want to go there with this campain, and Riv will not hesistate to player-kill. No warnings, etc.

The only tech devices laying in the open are the shield devices (including rings, bracelet, etc) and the PDa ("1 x mysterious and advanced looking wrist PDA without any apparent power source"). That is too few items for Riv to lose track of, and since he trusts Ceres and Kiph, you would be the first he would confront - well shoot, when they go missing. Keep it above the table and you might get the PDA anyway.

I did mention I was leaving the shield. If the all the marked gear is part of the same shielding set, then I'll repost. (in the meantime, I'll withdraw my post from the thread until I can get confirmation on what is part of the shielding system and what is not.) My character is fascinated with spacers and will do his utmost top learn more.

Apart from wether or not the sheid is all of the items or just one does not really matter. If PC vs PC action is to be started, I'm going to have to change how I post.

As said, I really don't want to go there. But if you are, PM AG first and tell him what you are going to do so we aren't saying 'hey - you can't do that!" or assuming you are successful.

As for spacer items, maybe if you really want it, ask for it and perhaps a deal can be made. But not for the shields

Riv's gonna need them when his 'friends' catch up with him.

Aye, everything marked AT-Reid-5 (Assault Tactical-Reid(a corporation) mk. 5) IS part of the shielding equipment.

Further info Brevil noticed during his brief study of the equipment:
By running diagnostics (via the on belt flip panel computer)
- The shielding of the head will be reduced due to no head width markers (broken ear rings).
- Hands (below wrists) and feet (below ankles) are not protected.
- The shielding is powerful, but the battery is old and must be recharged often. The recharging is slow.
- Additional hardware and software modules can be installed. These are NOT in place now, and will allow for such things as cloaking (invisibility), camouflage (simulating terrain patterns), radiation protection, biohazard protection, automatic detoxification of the host, air supply, G effect reduction, and so on. On unmodified personal shields only one of the systems may be active at once.

You know, Val, I'd much rather you mentioned it so we can get it sorted out. I'll steer clear of PvP from now on.

I've been spending an entire year campaigning on a game where the death rate was around once every two month. Form PvP alone. (Its a long story... I advise against double crossing your employer when he is an all powerful mafia boss, and he can turn every player against each other. I would also advise against mexican standoffs when a third party is present and hidden. Or they'll just fire once in the air and the s**tstorm is really going to hit the fan)

I'm going to have to get out of the habit!

No, it made sense from an RP perspective. Riv instantly gained a hatred towards Cancer that almost made him grab the SMG and blindly firing it in all directions. What he did was a bit watered down to keep from possibly ventilating the party
