well, we get to see how long i survive here, the other forums that i've been to over the past 5 years did not have the mentality or maturity present to keep me around. I've heard that this one is different ^_^
reccomended to join by Nobody, and at this point 97% or so likely to be attending StrolenCon with him, update on that later
addicted to music, love playing D&D and posting in these forums when I have the brain power to do so
trying to learn a bit more about DMing
I sing, play cello, learning piano(ugh), and am generally disorganized in everything

I'm not sure that maturity is our strong suit, but mentality we have in spades, ranging from the Towering Intellect of XXXXXXX XXXguin , Summoner of Lovecraftian Horror (The name was deleted to protect your sanity), the Mind-Twisting Presence of XXXXXetz, Inspirer of Terrifying XXXXX-XXXces (Name deleted to protect the innocent, wherever THEY may be), the Justly Dreaded Mentality of Ancient XXXXX, whose mere trees can evoke a break with reality (Name deleted for copyright reasons), and the Inimitable XXXXXXXXX, Bringer of the Mimes of Doom (name deleted because I couldn't spell it).

Yes, we're a merry band of cutthroats, rogues, jackanapes, madcaps, ruffians, and bedlamites.  Occasionally, we even write something.

I have heard of cellos, although I frequently confuse them with jellos which wiggle nicely but don't have the same tone.

Our maturity is more of an abstract sort, sort of like a missing ear on a pixie stick, but we tend to stay pretty serious about our unseriousness, seriously.

Glad that Nobody recommended you and would be great to see you at StrolenCon!

speaking of cellos, I met a girl today who was lugging around a cello-like instrument case. Bored by my commute, i approached and asked her if she played the cello. In fact, it was an instrument called a Gamba(?) she explained, popular during the baroque age. Anyone familiar with a Gamba? Do we have one in our musical instrument scroll?
