Somewhere to start....

Hey folks!

You may have noticed that I have made a few submissions, and I don't feel too embarrassed about them. So I thought I would introduce myself. I am a contract archaeologist working out of Austin, Texas. I have been playing and GMing games for the last 29 years, primarily D&D, but I love WarHammer RPG and CoC the most. I am currently running a D&D campaign called Vel Scurra, which is a sort of victorian-ish/steam punk/dark horror/gigantic city based game. Most of the submission I will make, will probably be related to this. I was a bit nervous about joining your group, but you guys have some really great ideas. I didn't want to steal content and not leave something in return. That being said...I will try and uphold the standards of this site.

I am not as serious or as big of a suck up as that makes me sound…smile :).

Ah. Someone who plays Warhammer, great. When I dont use homebrew its mostly CoC or Warhammer I enjoy the most. Anyway, welcome to the site.

I have not looked into the new addition of War Hammer, have you? I have a bad habit of buying everything I want at the gaming store so I have to impose limits on myself. I only buy stuff that I think would be a great reasorce for my campaign, and stuff that will not make me want to change story and system in mid stream.

I have the new source book, the bestiary, Sigmars heirs and some more. I recommend the source book and the bestiary and then jugde for yourself where you go from there. I have a feeling that they split much of the material into different relatively small books to make more money. At least the bestiary could have been easily crammed into the source book.
Its a good system, I like it more than the old one, it's all more polished. The usual makeover if you get me, and some additional candy to go. The only thing I really object to is that the setting has been set to after Archaon has made war upon the Empire. But it's easy to override that and play in a more stable world. Though I have used both settings with success.

Oh, I do Ancient Gamer. This is my favorite site. Don't know a better place to find game related material that doesn't suck. I plan to stick around for a while.

Hail! I am the astonishing LTB, at your service. I haven't been around very long, but if you like D&D, you should love the Citadel. Everyone here is quite nice, and a few are very good editors. Ancient for example, I do believe he despises horrible lines and such, not to impose.
