Seeking weird 1960’s Japanese SCI-FI James Bond flick…
« on: October 18, 2006, 11:40:07 AM »

Seeking title and any info available on a 1960’s Japanese (guessing, Asian anyway), Sci-Fi James Bond type flick – saw it once when I was about 8 years old so my memory is VAUGE but to the best of my recall these are the basic plot points:

•   People captured and turned into zombies/robots
•   Hung on a trapeze bar and lowered into an electrical blender type container, zapped and then pulled back out
•   Once zombie-fied or robo-fied they wore ray ban type black sunglasses to cover their now vacant eyes
•   Detective in a fast sharp car trying to catch bad guys/gang
•   BAD English dubbing…
•   Believe it shot in black and white but might be color (we still had BW TV set)

This is all I can remember but have never seen a reference to it since then (1970’s shock theatre late night program) – IT was bizarre but also awesome – never seen anything to match!!!

Triumph of the Dungeon Master!

Ah, how I have come to love that sense of accomplishment and victory that I get when I pull the wool over the eyes of a clever player character. What DM Triumphs have you had?

Some of mine:
1. Finally killing an incredibly powerful, lucky, annoying player's character.
2. Finally achieving a TPK (Total Party Kill)
3. Finally achieving a TPK using only traps
4. Finally working out how to make it so that d**n wizard doesn't steal the spotlight all the d**n time.
