Echo, working on some Rose Knight stuff for future levels. For this level, you get a minor boon (non-puissant). Your effective charisma is increased by 2 temporarily, whenever dealing/parlaying with elves (any) or other humanoid races, but in the case of non-elves, the charisma bonus only applies to "like-minded" individuals (similar alignment/outlook). In terms of puissance, you get an additonal +1 to dam. Next level cooler stuff...

Also, yeah, another spell slot. But has to be no higher than a 2nd level spell.

Siren, hmm, you get +2 to all your saves back. Wheeee! Also, add +1 dam bonus with weapons you're proficient with.

Hmm, you had already mentioned the +2 to svs back, I assumed that was for general good stuff, then Lay of Hands for taunting the Demodand?

Spell book of evil wizard guy who summoned Demodand, but didn't live long enough to have an actual name (Thanks to Kyrian's single blow)

1st Magic Missile, Light, Unseen Servant, Sleep, Burning Hands, Read Languages, Pyrotechnics, Shocking Grasp, Armor
2nd Aganazzar’s Scorcher, Wizard Lock, Web, Locate Object

4th Polymorph (Other), Evard’s Black Tentacles, Plant Growth, Dimension Door

After some time, and a read languages spell, Kadarin now sees the second scroll for what it is. Written in a demonic tongue, indeed, the scroll is a long and exhaustive step by step ritual of Demodand “bottling”, and the proper techniques for letting the ooze out of the bottles. The text calls for special equipment and various components, and special glass jars, and so forth. There is also, what appears to be a short list of secret, true names of various demodands (one would assume)

Don't fret if you feel there's "too many" magic items and scrolls heading your way lately. You're a group of 4th-5th level characters, and I'm taking you thru a module for 10th-12th level types

Once this guy thought I handed out too many magic items (I was new and I did), so he took over the GMing. After a year with 1 magic item (cure hangover scroll), the group ditched him and reinstated me.

Ah, I once gave my players a Scroll of Save Game - but they never got a Scroll of Load Game, so it was kinda useless.

As for the "too many items" - yes, I also handed out too much loot when I was a newbi. Basically, as long as characters don't have multiple items for each item slot, it's not too crucial. And if they happen to have empty item slots, then the ost feble item that fits it will still be welcomed.

Ring of free action makes one immune t webbing, hold, dunno if to stunning too. Anything that makes for more Kyrian action is cool. Does it haste one as well?
