So, hi!
I first stumbled on this site absolutely ages ago, before it looked so very swanky as it does now (congrats on the swankiness!). I can't remember if I ever joined or not, but my computer died soon after and you were forgotten... Until now!
I'd like to say that as soon as I was refurnished with technical whizz-bangery I sallied forth with haste and sought you out once again, but that didn't happen
In fact, I found it in the much the same way as I discovered it first time. That is to say, I stumbled. I stumble a lot of places, truth be told, my sense of balance is terrible.
The reason behind my (re?)joining is that I've finally - after an extended break that has encompassed several years - got back into fantasy roleplaying (in the meantime I've gone from Wild West to Cyberpunk to Lovecraftian to vanilla horror, with varying successes). And so, as is only proper, my first action has been to hunt out a free roleplaying system that I like ( Legendary Tales, an absolutely beautiful system -
http://www.pmzg.nu/downloads.shtml ) and gut it completely, tinkering with all the rules until I have the fantasy roleplaying equivalent of a fully pimped lowriding automobile. I don't like to brag, but I think the alloys are fairly dope. And the spoiler is somewhat whack, yo.
And to go alongside this, I'm making myself a nice new game world (hardly a unique endeavour, from what I've seen, but I don't care, dammit!). And that, by the power of convolution, is why I've joined - "Pour sharer l'ideas" as the French might (or might not, at their leisure) say. I personally wouldn't say that, being english and all. I might shout "For sharing ideas" very slowly to the aggrieved foreigner in question, however
