Right now the game is in a phase of transition and information. Roleplaying and dialogue is in focus but you can also do other things.
If you are unsure of your role or what to do, you can do several things. Talking, guard duty and sleeping comes naturally to mind, yet there is even more things you can do.
The tattoo derived abilities could be explored, magic rituals and spells can be performed, Hunthar will undoubtedly be asked to beat breastplates and helms back in shape.
Whatever you do: remember to ask your questions now. Now you are all gathered, now you can dig and get the information you need.
Tomorrow I will continue the story and, unless you say otherwise, I will advance it to the ruined city of Ur-Keldon (or possible random encounters), AFTER you have gotten your precious sleep.
