Orson Scott Card is a genius
« on: February 01, 2006, 04:39:55 PM »
I cast him aside as mediocre scifi the first time I read Enders game. But then,
a few months ago, I re-read it, and the three sequels.
His take on diplomacy is unique.
The roleplaying games were never a danger.
Indeed, the only ones with real room to be
offended were pagans. As for me, I wish we druids could turn wood to gold. ;)

I like Ender's conflict resolution methods.
"... Formula 1 racing is flawed because you can't blow up the cars in front of you."

"It’s becoming really depressing that things actual strippers wear would be more functional that what comic book protagonists have on their bodies."

Could someone explain who he is please, the name sounds vaugley familier.
A necromancer is only evil in the eye of those who hate him and only hated by those who do not understand him.
