Sacred Seal Discussion

Like a reanimated corpse, the Sacred Seal Discussion forum is back from the dead. The decision for it coming back is becuase, well, I decided to bring it back. But also it served no purpose gathering dust in the catacombs when we could at least create new threads with our FAVORITE websites in it. It can also give those webmasters who found us the ability to see if their site meets our Seal criteria.

The winning sites will find themselves a special shiny home in the new Citadel so we do definately take it seriously even though the implementation is a little bit off.

Do we have a wonderful graphic to give them, our little seal of approval?

Are we going to have this section when we go to 2.0 (i.e. will it be in the forums?)

How will this releate to the website section? Are the two going to be merged, as a post for a website that could be "an award winner" would be there as well.  The discussion and votes could be in that section.

And lastly, an aside, what is going to be in the forums when 2.0 goes?

Same graphic as before but will have another smaller one to put with their link when browsing.

The section will in the link section as we are discussing elsewhere. I am thinking the Sacred Seal might take the place of the Golden Submission in the link category.

This may not be in the forums at all. Might be totally on the main site if we use a similiar setup for the links as we do everything else.

Forums will be slimmed down of course, all depends on how well the main site can replace what we have going here. Might just be an act of attrition for awhile. Forums stay the same to start and as things get moved over, things get deleted (or just moved to hidden forums to not totally lose the original) and then we see how the forum is used. Just how it grew through need and use, it will shrink through unuse.
