I need your advice, o dice patron, how do you make the standard d20, d10, etc. and also rune dice (hail odin) out of wood.
Another question. I noticed a few oriental dice on your site. I especially liked the dice that had only a single number transfered into kanji. Where can I find those? I would love to have a set of dice with the 1 a kanji symbol.
I am a woodworker myself and have yet to come up with an accurate method of achieving the complex angles ... I know there is a way as I have a [/url] My expertise is in finish carpentry and cabinet work ... so this is a bit out of my depth ... sorry I let you down
Do you know how to make an even d6? I long ago read something about balancing it, but am not sure.
If you assume uniform wood density then all that is needed is to cut accurately, (and we all know what ass-u-me makes ...)
Yeah, how do you recommend measuring it and what to cut with?
And when you design a new shape? I take it they're not wood, so what materials do you use?(and how?)
Your updates are great ! I like this month's Tobacco Dice...Not sure if I missed the answer to this question somewhere along this thread, but how do I get my hands on some of these bad-boys?
The Tobacco Dice would be exactly what I'm looking for!! I'll trade you a 69' mint condition Playboy for all of them
Do you know where I might get my hands on some of these?http://www.dicecollector.com/D10_OPAQUE_ROUNDED_SWIRL_CC_OBLIVION_STD_POLY.jpg
I've been thinking about getting a set of the dice made of actual bone recently. I've read a couple bad reviews on them about the numbers being hard to read and the dice just being of poor quality. Do you have an opinion of these dice? http://www.rpgshop.com/product_info.php?products_id=36295&
