For those that are into the security part of things, you should be able to establish a secure connection to the Citadel.
What does this change? Nothing really. You can currently go about your business as usual but you might notice a green lock or a lock with a yellow triangle (if using chrome) and whatever in whatever other browsers. A lock and a triangle seem to be consistent in Firefox as well. I don't have IE on my linux box to look at that.
In the forum, you will get a yellow warning when you load signatures with pictures. All those will be using http instead of https. If you want to change your signature picture links to https, please do. You will help us go full secure. (I will do it slowly, but I am in no rush!)
On the main site, there will be random graphics that occasionally pop up that break the secure connection as well. I will eventually hunt them down.
The site will default to https in most cases now. Might be pieces scattered everywhere depending on if I hard coded the links. Lots of variables.
Just in case you notice the new icons in your web browsers address bar, that is why.
If you want to let me know which webpages have the warning, please do and I will clean them up as I get time. Thanks. (reply to this or add it in the bug tracker forum)
