Excellent!
I'm already liking it. I assume that it's based on the background of Scras' Black Spear?

Scra's Black Spear is actually from Caladin, the setting that Sentinel created. The hero who weilded the spear was the founder of the Kasmir civilization, the ancient race that ruled the land long before the Calan colonized it.Hated and feared by both the Dejy and the Ogres, they were destroyed by the gods  for daring to challenge them.

But love them or hate them, they were snappy dressers, had a great sense of style and dramatic urban planning with a penchant for massive structures made of black stone. Gotta respect anyone with an edifice complex.

Yes, the inspiration was indeed from Scrasamax's spear.
Well, no, actually, It wasnt. It was inspired by the background of Scras's spear, particuarly the coming across of the altar and the awakening of a Dark god.
And yeah, Cudos go out to Scras's spear and also to Caladin, for helping me expand ;)

Personally, I wouldn't have given the Dark God a name, but it's your setting.

I understand what you mean, and I spent about ten minutes wondering whether or not I should give him a name. But the name is unknown to nearly everybody - only a very few priveliged people know it so, to the populace of Ghanris, he IS unnamed.

On the tablet which is mentioned in Khalimo's texts under 'the watchers and the travellers' in the current day, there is but one name: 'Khalimo'.

I'll write more a bit later - it's storming here and I don't want my computer to fry ;)

*Breathes life back in Ghanris*

I'll be attempting to post a bit more of this world in the next two weeks, since I'm on holidays now.

* Edited all posts for grammatical errors/structural errors
* Changed several details (e.g. The Dark God is now nameless! :P)
* Added Pilgrimage/Magic

*Pronunciations updated*

There are many books, games etc... which show chaos and order as not bitter enemies, but rather allies, benefiting each other mutually. This world goes one further and say that chaos IS order. For without the change, this universe will fall into disuse, becoming stagnant and fading from existence.

In terms of who falls under which wanderer, the following examples may help you out a little:
Felheu: Destruction
Anyone who has a nature to injure or destroy will fall under this category. This may include anything from Traitors to vandals, thieves (all of which arent in short supply in Ghanris), Torturers, Demolishers, explosives experts and so on.

Alama'que: Element
This includes anyone who studies or has an affinity to weather and the elements. This can include blacksmiths (Who use fire and water to craft items), weathermen, Fishermen, boaters/sailors (wind+water), and so on.

Khi Paranei: Death
This may include anyone who studies, enjoys, or lives around death. Gravediggers, Morgue workers, Murderers. Even some law enforcers.

Morden: collection
This would include Travellers and explorers, basic adventurers, guides, horse-riders and the like.

Inilistis: Creation
This will include artists, crafters, builders, sculptors and so forth.

Krak'namagi: Mechanics
This involves more specialised 'how things work' thoughts than creation. Inventors, mechanists, complex crafters and the like.

Szeiner: Life
This will include any who study or work with life. Psychologists, doctors, Vetinarians, immunisers and scientists working on things to do with prolonging life.

Eriphen: Nature
Nature will include anyone who has much to do with animals and plants. Herbalists, vetinarians, Hunters, alchemists.

Zey of records
Anyone who has to work on recording and the like. Scribes, treasury people, news makers and so on.

If someone has a profession or way of life that may fall in either of the two categories, that person will only fall in the one that is used most. Someone can only have one aspect. For example: Blacksmiths could fall under Element, Mechanists or creators, but they prominently manipulate elements of heat, water and wind to make things, so they fall under element.
