I'll allow it. Go ahead and join us. But you won't know what's going on immediately, mind you.

Veterans of "Doom Within the Mountain" may remember the old "follow the magpie". Well, I've resurrected it, albeit in somewhat different form, as "follow the sparrow".
Just thought you all should know.

So follow that d**n sparrow!

That is because the Matrix, much like Star Wars, and even Arthurian legend follow the epic formula, another expression of the collective unconscious/stream of consciousness espounced by Carl Jung.

Currently, the battleroids are in the central cargo cavern. This vast chamber, supported by buttresses of metal, is a large void in Ship Six. The 18 "floors" of the cavern are huge networks of metal-grate walkways and plasteel decking amongst huge, 18-story towers of crates. There are cranes, robotic arms, and other machinery for the transport of needed boxes around the cavern. Hanging in the air above each "floor" of the cave is a structure of pipes, wiring, vents, and ducts which used to heat, cool, and power the cavern. There are no ceilings between the floors; if one were to climb up on top of the piping-structure, one could probably then attempt to climb to the next floor, though it would be a large distance away.

All but one of the battleroids are on one of the walkway-corridors, between walls of crates containing parts for the construction of small starships and robot scouts. One battleroid is in an air duct in the piping-structure above the walkway.

The creature that Shine sees in the oil pool is a hallucination. None of the other cyborgs can see it, by the way.

Sure is!
But I must warn you- your battleroid will be waking up a bit late and a bit out of it, and there's a giant wave of molten stuff that's destroying the cavern...
Can you catch up with my char or Scras'?

Name: Soldier Number 10 (Lock)
Former Rank: Lieutenant Commander
Former Occupation: Intelligence and Reconnaisance
Program Entry: CLASSIFIED
Psychological Profile: Highly unstable.  Like all cyborgs, she experiences hallucinations and ghost-memories, but hers primarily focus on her death, which was evidently extremely unpleasant.  She has yet to have any memories of her friends or family.  Generally follows orders, but can be highly unpredictable.  Seems to be manifesting symptoms of post-traumatic stress syndrome.  Marked for further study.
Skills: Information Retrieval, Recon (see note below), Proficient with Personal Firearms and Blades

Special: Project Chameleon  Lock was built to be reconnaisance.  An experimental light-sensitive substance was used in the construction of her coffin-armor, which is much lighter than average.  This substance allows her armor to take on the coloration of her surroundings, making her difficult to spot.  However, the Chameleon Polymers are far from perfected, and only allow her to blend in in poor lighting conditions, and do not render her invisible.  Also, they take several minutes to adjust to changes.

Sorry for not posting. At first, I was having trouble with my computer and couldn't get on, and when it was fixed, I'd forgotten about this. So, if this is still alive, and none of you mind, could I rejoin as a colonist? If not, that's okay, and understandable.
