The houses of the constellations number seven by seven, two score and nine in number. There are seven great houses, and to each seven constellations. This may seem a staggering amount, but there are many stars in the heavens, and of the constellations, not all carry the same weight of power and prophecy.

Among the common people, it is common for only the greatest constellation of each house to be known, and only a savant or master astrologer can name all 49 houses without aid or notation.

The House of Voyages - The Demense of Nuit, the Goddess of night, consort to Helios, and sister of Anubis, the House of Voyages is considered the first house of the Celestial Tapestry. Merchants, pilgrims, travellers and sailors often consult the stars of Voyages to see what fate may lie ahead in their travels

Nuit - The Sheperd of the Stars and the brightest of the constellations. The Eye of Nuit is the brightest object in the sky after the moons of Luna and Aura, and serves as the beacon star for travellers as it never moves from its lofty postion in the northern sky. Nuit is often invoked for faithfulness as her light never falters, even in the darkest of night. The Elves especially revere Nuit and call her by another name, Elbereth, maiden of the Stars.

Telos - The great Eagle of the Heavens, and messenger of Nuit to her spouse Helios, the Unconquered Sun. Telos is renowned for his great eyesight, and ability to pierce the viels of illusion, deception, and trickery. The Constellation of the eagle in flight swings in a mighty arc, dipping below the horizon in the dawn, and rising during the last rays of the sun.

The Celestial Barque - This is the celestial vessel that plies its way through the night air, the ship of Nuit that carries Helios through the night when he is away from the Celestial City. Eclipses of the Sun are often called the Shadow of the Barque and seen as inauspicious as only the worst of event scould bring Nuit and her fair vessel out of the night, to fly into the fiery heavens when Helios gazes uon creation.

Eosyn - The Night Stallion, the steed of Nuit and the sire of the Nightmares. The Constellation of Eosyn is considered a dark omen especially in the realm of dream telling and oneiromancy.

Varga - The Celestial Wheel, the guiding star of the wandering Druids and Tinkers. Varga is opposed to Telos, as the druids and tinkers have existed on the fortune of the road, cons and thievery. Varga is a constellation of survival, and trickery.

Ballos - The Celestial Hound, and the hunter of night wolves, protector of the dream realms.

Aieglos - The Celestial Mountain, home of Nuit and the place where the celestial barque makes it port during the day. The Constellation of Aieglos can only be seen during solar eclispes.

Often called the Erratic Moon, the Enigmatic, or the Sorcerers Moon. Aura is rare in that the moon follows an elliptical orbit around Aterrizar, at the closest point appearing the same size as Luna, but radiant gold the Lunas shining silver. While at the furthest point, it can only be discerned as a golden disc, marginally brighter than the Eye of Nuit.

According to legend, the Promethian god of magic and sorcery is entrapped within the golden moon for the transgression of bringing the gift of magic to man. This changed man, a purely physical race, raising him to the same status as the semi-spirit elves. As the elves were the favored of the gods for millenia, this angered them, and the god of sorcery was placed within a golden shell and hung in the heavens, denied access to the Celestial City. Only the minions of Nuit, and his own messengers in the Celestial House of Secrets pay him any mind.

This house is one of the most frequently consulted of the astrological realms, for it deals with the essences of love, passion, hope, and romance. The House of Liesure is one of the oldest houses, with the greater deity Isis ruling it as Nuit rules the House of Journies. The Goddess is known by many other names, to the denizens of the Gulf Coast kingdoms, she is Vesu, Goddess of Desire, while in the cold northlands she is Frejal the mistress of Melted Ice.

Isis, The Reclining Lady - This constellation is strongest during the heat of the summer months, when the labor of the planting is done and the harvest is yet come to fruit. During the idyllic hot months, young lovers pledge devotion in her name, to overcome dynastic disputes, or differences in social station.

The Celestial Couch - Not a mundane piece of furniture, but a representative of the receptive hearth and the warm home. According to Ecstatic myth, it was upon this couch of orichalum and dragonhide that Isis took Helios, and Anubis as lovers and bore from them the lands of the living and the dead.

Alienos, the Green Eyed Cat - The hand pet of Isis, Alienos is constantly on guard looking for that which is counterfeit, or in very rare cases, of the utmost quality. It is the gaze of Alienos that penetrated the fraud of Cephid the Fallen, when he attempted to seduce Isis and create a demonic realm from their copulation.

Azaros, the Tender of Flowers - Also known as the RoseKeeper, Azaros is the eternal paramour of Isis, and represents the masculine font of power in astrological readings. For a man to be called Azaros can be a compliment or a great insult. On one hand, Azaros is possessing keen understanding of detail, poetry, and the workings of the feminine mind and the importance of beauty. It can also be construed as a man lacking in martial prowess, and completely ruled by feminine wiles. Azaros my by the paramour of Isis, in truth, it is the god of war, Set, who is her spouse.

Gulesariaon, the Celestial Rose - This is the perfect flower of heaven, the first rose, created of will and desire, and given as a gift to Isis. She has placed it in the heavens so that its beauty will never fade from the world. Gulesarion is a symbol of fidelity, and immortal endurance.

Keros, the Bawdy - Once a mortal, Keros dwelt in the Midlands and lived among the satyrs and centaurs, learning their natural ways, and love of wine and music. The mortal enticed Isis to descend from the celestial couch with his haunting music. The mortal died of bliss in her arms, and in grief for his lost song, Isis placed him in the celestial sphere as a symbol for those whose goals seem beyond all reality.

Hymnon, the Chaste - Almost alien to the rest of the rather colorful constellations of the House of Liesure, Hymnon is a symbol of the purity of virginal love, unsullied by baser emotions and lusts. She appears as a woman of teenage years with long dark hair, and white silk robes and espouses the importance or trust, purity, and love.
