"Stop being ignorant, this world is far more dangerous then you think, danger right now even."
He muttered to her, his smooth elven accent razor sharp.

she waved away this comment and countinued to smile, "god, your a bit grumpy" she said in a girlish voice, "when we get into a battle then i willbe serious but if there is need for it then look on the bright side of life, even if there is none" her smile broadened.

He shook his head and looked at her.
"You lived a very iscolated life, didn't you."
He said sarcasticly, he looked away from her, dusk had come and he stopped in a clearing in the forest.
"Rest, I'll make the fire."

"fine, you do know that just because i am female i can do stuff" she sat down with a plop, it was rather chilly, and she shivered slightly, looked up into the sky it was clear no clouds were in the sky, the stars twinkled above, a shooting star past by, over her head, she closed her eye's and led back listening to the sounds of the animals and the pure quietness of the forest.

He ignored it and he went into the forest, he came back a few minutes later with his arms full with twigs, he put them down on the ground and with flint he set a spark and started the fire, he sat back silent as he looked into the fire, he took his pack off his back and opened it, rummaging through it he came out with elf bread, handing her a piece.
"Here."
he got himself a piece and took one bite putting it away.

Floren took the bread and was about to take a bite when she fell to the floor fast asleep the bread discarded in her hand, she slept silenghtly, her chest raising in and out steadily, like a sleeping angel, her hair was about her on her shoulders and spread along the floor

He raised an eyebrow, unclasping his cloak from him he went over and put it on her, he picked up the discarded bread wrapped it up and put it back into his pack, he sighed and went back on his side staring into the fire, he would keep watch this night

The night passed slowly, and Sentinel stayed still throughout the whole night not moving at all, dawn came even more slowly, and at first like, Sentinel stirred and stood up stetching. Oddly nothing had bothered them throughout the night, Sentinel didn't know how to take it, it was chance or somebody was toying with them. He walked over to Floren and shook her awake.
"Time to take leave."

Floren opened her eye's and the light blinked at her, through the trees, she pushed herself up with her hand and yawned, she looked up into sentinel's face and nodded slightly, not speaking a word she stood and brushed the dust off of her clothes, she bent down picked up his cloack, and gently handed it to him, she yawned again and took a few steps forward before turning around, and picking up a letter which had fallen out of her pocket and slipped it in again.

He put his cloak back on they started going South again, Sentinel lived to his name, staying silent for two hours without making a word, thinking of his next move and the next, preparing for anything that might of surpirsed them

Faith was till rather tired but walked at a suprising speed, her dress floating out behind as she walked, she turned suddenly "where now?" she asked as they reached a fork road "which way?" she looked back to the roads and looked down each path, each one looking more gloomy than the others.

He pointed to the right, the more darker of the roads.
"We will have to go through the Caliad Forests to reach our destination."
He nodded and started down the road

she nodded and followed after him, occasionally rubbing her hands together, she moved her hair out of her eye's and yawned again, maybe it wasn't going to be a hard journey, maybe no one was looking for them, but maybe at this point it might be just luck? she moved, quicker keeping in line with sentinel.

He heard a twig snap and he held his hand out stopping her, he put his hand on the hilt of his sword, why hadn't he seen it, an ambush would most likely happen in the forests. He looked around, seeing nothing he started forward slowly

She looked at sentinel, and also grabbed the hilt of her sword, but not bringing it forward, she would wait intill he pulled his forward.

He heard the twang of arrows being released and he whirled around grabbing her he brought her to the floor as arrows flew just at where they had been, one pierced Sentinel in the shoulder, but he showed nothing of it, he stood up picking her up, he ran, carrying her as if she was a baby, cradling her in his arms as arrows flew about

The arrows flew through the air, as he had pulled her, her knee had grazed along the floor leaving a small patch of blood on her dress, nothing to bad but still, she tried to look behind to see who was firing at them,

He had noticed the arrows, assassins most likely, from the east, they would be hired to stop them, although he didn't know how he knew. He kept on running for what seemed like hours, and when they stopped, they were far out of the forest and in the middle of grasslands. He set her down, breathing heavily

"you didn't have to carry me you know i can run" she pushed a lock of hair out of her eye's and stared at him, "that arrow hit you, and yet there is nothing there," she went to touch his shoulder, as if her hand would just disappear,

He stepped back, he didn't like being touched, the arrow had entered through the back of his shoulder, not the front, he reached back and pulled it out wincing he looked at it and tasted the tip, he detected no poisen, he threw it to the ground.
"I did what I had to. You would of slowed me down."

Her eye's narrowed at the words, and she turned away, standing up and walking to the edge of the forest "if im slowing you down so much, then why are you still with me here?" she turned abruptly, staring directly into his eye's "i wish for you to tell me, why you seem to resent me so much, what exactly have i ever done to you?" she waved her hand as she spoke, "if i am slowing you down that much then leave, i will journey alone" she stared at him and then sat on the floor, looking into the sky at the diffrent shaped clouds,

He stayed silent for a while.
"You would of died back there if it had not been for me."
He walked over to her and put his hand under her arm pulling her up.
"No time to rest, we must keep moving."
He said rather softly and started to walk again

she snatched her arm away, and stayed back a tiny bit, she slumped and followed him as he walked away, she stayed silent for the period of time, she had not meant to say most of that but her feelings had just as if like a baloon popping had burst out of her, she again pushed her hair out of her eye's and countinued to follow,

He stayed silent as well, enveloped in thoughts unknown to her. He was thinking of when they reached a town he would have to dress the wound. It was deep, he felt it, and soon his whole tunic on the back was bloody

her eye's stayed lowered as she thought about her mother and what a burden this mission would be, she looked up to look athis back blood covering the back of his clothes, she just looked she couldnt do anything because he wouldn't let her, she speed up and as she passed him handed him a small vial "it will clean the wound" she said scournfully, pushing it at him and countinuing to walk forward,
