Greetings to the mighty Strolen and his famed crew.I know it's tradition to introduce one's self before one posts anything,but I seem to have skipped that little tradition.Well,Im a fan of the fantasy genre andI joined this forum,hoping to meet like minded people. I was not dissapointed.If any of one here has found any of my posts annoying,I apologize and deeply thank them for tolerating my humble and unworthy presence here.

Long Long Ago in a Galaxy Far Far Away A Strolen created the site, he looked down upon the site and said it was good. Then he thought it could be better. And so here we are constantly adding new worlds and making things better.

By the way, did you know that Manowar is of old a great English Battleship?

Actualy the battleship is a Man Of War, which is often expressed as ManOWar. Even the Man is short for something, but that part I always forget.

Yes, a 'man of war' is a warship in general.

Most people think of the american-british war of independence when they speak of ManO'Wars. The term has been used from the war of independence to more recent times and apply to all manner of ships from all manner of nations.

I have read about several Merchantman vessels being outfitted as menO'war during the war of independence... Perhaps 'Man' comes from Merchantman?
