The Region of Ankalar
The Region of Ankalar is a vast territory in a temperated zone in the lands of "unknown". The southern parts of Ankalar are partly sub tropical.
Ankalar is known as the Kingless lands. It is mainly composed of uncharted
territory and small strips of land claimed by self appointed rulers.
It is dominated by the great forest of Corell that lies in the middle of the region. In the outskirts of northern Corell lies the plains of Lyonelle where small woods of Pine trees and Gran are scattered. This is a country of rugged hills and low valleys. To the east of Lyonelle is the small wood of Kestor, Kestor is the home of many cottages and small woodcutter villages.
Thalion to the west is one of the larger strips of land which is inhabited. Thalion is ruled by a merciless Lord which seeks to enlarge his territories to the east.
To the the south are the great mountains of Halidon, the mountains are also known as the wall of the south.

The wood was in the elder days the home of the wild men which they are now called. It was believed for a period of time after the Morian wars, that they had been driven out of Corell and vanished in the Halidon mountains. But wild men has once again been spotted at the outskirts of the forest heart. Corell is a lush forest with many clearings, roads, farmland, and small villages.
