(OOC: Jumpstart!  And, because, y'know, just having ONE homicidal monster is never enough.)

Ria fled through the library.  She had thought Gaeric had nasty potential when she had read the scroll, but she had no desire to find out how nasty.  But many of her scrolls could be of use, if she could only get to them.  Right off hand, she would be very happy to have the Family Cohrron, or Gypsy, or any of her warriors.  She cursed herself for not getting around to writing up the scrolls for the other people she dreamed up.
She caught a glimpse of someone.  One of the librarians?  She slowed down.  A middle-aged looking man, very fierce looking.  He seemed to be dressed in ragged ranger's clothing.  She noticed a large irregular brownish patch on his tunic.
Oh no.  Don't let that be...
He saw her, and grinned unpleasantly.  Then he pulled a large, wicked looking hunting knife.  "You are trespassing in my lady's lands.  The penalty is death.  You may start running now."
Ria screamed a most unladylike obscenity and spun on her heel, running flat out.  You d**n fool!  Every one needs a homicidal pyschopath every now and then, brilliant!
They would have to go and let Roland Feyfriend out...

The beast was gone even as he landed the light saber passed through nothing.  Luke tunred it off before it could light the scrolls on fire, settting a fire and burning all their out wasn't a good idea.  What he needed was an advantage something that would give an edge over this beast.  He set off to a the area of scrolls that induced powers or enhancements.  It was dark this area not many people went back in here.  Too much of a chance that you could end up activating some ones scroll and ending up a mess.  

Luke had known all too many who had come back here and spent a week with an extra tail or maybe as a blob of slime.  Not a very pretty thing to be or feel for any length of time.  Luke went into the way back of the section where some of the more dangerous power were kept.  He selected the Psi powers written by Araith it gave him the edge he needed.  He spent a few moments channeling his energy then he spoke the incantation.

Powers flowed into him, immediately he felt four other beings in the room.  Shadoweagle's slick clever thoughts, Ria's panicked terror, MoonHunter's cold calculating thoughts.  And the darkness it moved like mist through the libary slowly stalking each of them.  Luke headed straight towards using the Psi ability to home in on it's erractic thoughts.  

He lit his lightsaber and stepped around a corner ready to face it...

[OOC]Cudos on Jumpstarting this, Ria :) And Luke, are those Psi powers by araith actually in here, and if so, please give a link. A condition of this roleplay is that whatever scroll is read, must already be made in the main section.
