Imagine a land to the East (or just Far Away) that trades with your lands with the occasional Caravan. This land is all about The Civilization: The Order of Things, The Celestial Bureaucracy, The Mantle of Heaven, and clerical abilities defining who was in charge (due to their being touched by the Gods). The Buracracy spoke with the voice of the Gods and could channel their power.  Imagine what happens when their Gods die.

Death is an art form. Where can a single act that is repeated by every single life at least once in their lifetime and have multiple emotions involved in each one. I relate this in a similar manner as a dramatic play. You look into the audience at the height of the emotional act and you see ranges of emotion from everyone. I experience this every time I watch the eyes of a guasto widen and become cold to look at. You should witness this yourself, to understand your own immortality and how to overcome it. Look into the mirror as your life trickles away and the truth will be revealed.

Rather than making a baddy impossible to hit, consider giving it mega-hit points.
Super hard to hit leads to great player frustration. Allowing them to do damage leads to a sense of accomplishment. another variation of this would be to give the bad guy a forcefield that shows damage.You could also give them a mastermind ability that sluffs the damage of to minions who should be easy to kill.Once in a while a super high to hit encounter is ok ,but it should be few and far between.
