The best thing that can happen when confronted by a Rhaphi (Rafy) is that it will ignore you and continue on its way…It seems to have no purpose in life but to transport its undercarriage of parasites, which are numerous and not exactly friendly or hygienic, from one place to the next.
Named for a type of tick found in the wastelands of Acheron, it is extremely tiny, barely the size of an ant or ladybug and, due to its bright blue coloring and segmented, mite-like body, it is often taken to be a strange insect. It is not, however, a harmless bug.
Many is the thriving mine that has been brought to it’s knees by an infestation of Jewel Worms, resulting in cave-ins, loss of productivity and the threat of a major disaster if work continues.Miners fear these as much as pockets of poisonus gas or earthquakes,and with good reason.
A very rare spider, combines a certain degree of inteligence and wickedness. Living in underground locales, it can survive for long periods of time without fresh food. Even a rat is good, but it likes bigger prey, even humanoids.
The horrible and hated Nail Worm lives in deep caves near the Evil Labyrinth. It is unknown, whether only one monster exists, or there are several. There was at least one guaranteed sighting in the Labyrinth itself.
Both beautiful and delicious, these highly sought creatures are almost extinct in some areas.

This ferocious creature has plagued adventurers that enter it’s cave for hundreds of years. No one knows what it gaurds in it’s lair, but rumors of vast wealth continue to draw adventurers to it.
The eyes came closer and with them came a growling sound, and the warrior swung at them with his sword. They flew around it, revealing themselves to be harmless insects. The warrior swore...it was no Cave Bear or Giant Spider but a pair of Eye Flies out looking for insects to eat that were smaller still.
